Final Journey [Active]

Character(s): Noel Kreiss, open
Content: The city gets a boy from the ~future~
Setting: Vanaheim gate
Time: Middayish?
Warnings: None expected.

Noel closed his eyes just for a moment as he walked through the gate. But what he hadn't been expecting was to feel grass under his feet. "What?" He opened his eyes, and looked around. Domes rose up over the horizon, and around him as far as he could see was white grass. The light reflected off small sparkles in the air, and it was kind of relaxing, really.

A line was set up filtering people slowly into the dome. "Nothing else out here, I guess. But where did Serah and Mog get to?" As he joined the line, he looked around more, trying hard to scan for Serah's telltale hairstyle, or Mog's glowing pink crystal. Seeing nothing of either was starting to get him a bit worried.

The line was shuffled through the gate pretty quickly, and before he knew it, Noel was getting a box shoved at him. "Welcome to Paixao," the guy said as Noel took the item. Moments later the line was moving again, and Noel was inside. Apparently "Paixao" was a pretty fancy city. The buildings were extravagant, and the streets were paved with stone. Nothing he'd ever seen on Cocoon or Pulse looked anything like it.

Noel sat down on a bench and took out the box he'd been handed, flipping it open. "A keyboard, huh? Let's see what I can use this thing for..."

She had to keep her focus. There were things to talk about, getting tripped up now thinking about the others, that could wait until later.

It shouldn't be too hard to avoid details, so long as they didn't have to tell their story to the others, really. Between Hope, Fang, Vanille, and Snow Serah was a little worried about how they'd take it anyway.

She gave a nod, then let the topic slip by for the moment.

"Thank you, Lightning."

And sitting, eating, and getting some sleep later-- all of it sounded really good after the fights they'd just had. Serah was grateful for the chance to rest, sitting in the chair Noel offered with a quick, grateful look.

"Hm, yeah, it's been pretty hectic."

She wasn't exactly privy to everything Noel and Lightning had said over the message board yet, but if there was any question she'd be glad to answer. How much should they tell Lightning? That was another question on her mind.
