When the Cowboy Met the Detective [Active]

Character(s): Woody, Basil, and Ratigan
Content: While the cowboy doll was out in and about, he came across Toby owned by the famous mouse detective Basil of Baker Street. But! Game is a foot as Ratigan stalks them.
Setting: Outside along the streets of Paixao.
Time: Early Evening
Warnings: Only the rat that’s gonna be following them

It wasn’t usual for Woody to be walking out and about, but today he decided to make an exception. For one thing, the snow seemed to have cleared up. And not to mention, he wanted to see what was going on around town. He’s heard enough what might be going on with the Organization and learning that everyone else were also having nightmares around here. Woody took a breath as he found himself navigating around the place. Maybe he can see if he can find out more about this place and what else could cause trouble.

Almost tripping over a branch or two in the bushes, Woody hoped on one foot as he tried to keep balance. He grabbed a hold of his cowboy hat. Taking another breath, before his cord got caught on one of the branches. When it let go it made his voice box cry out loud, “REACH FOR THE SKKKKYYYY~

Woody almost yelped as he quickly hid back into the bushes, hoping no one saw him. Tripping over another branch, the back of vinyl head smacking against another branch. Giving a loud groan to himself in annoyance, “Oh this is just great! Pick the bushes Woody, perfect place the sneak around in,” Woody said smacking his forehead, “Great. Brilliant luck.”

Ratigan's taunting was met with a rather indignant look on Basil's part, which was only made worse by the doll's insistence on being as positively brainless as possible--which was quite a radical feat for an entity that had no true brain matter to speak of.

"Ratigan, why are you here?" It had nothing to do with the doll, unless the slimy rat had let himself fall prey to his own curiosity, which hardly fit the dastard's character. Of course, Basil already knew that the rat had actually followed Toby here, it was written all over both of them. He also knew just what part of town Toby had brought the doll here from, and had noted that this toy's owner was not only absent from the city but had, in fact, been absent from his life in general for quite some time.

Which still left the question of just why Ratigan refused to get to the point.
