The Doctor grinned enthusiastically as he closed the door after them, leading Lenne to the dining room, where he pulled out a chair for her. To be honest, he'd probably gone overboard, what with all the food he'd made - but what the hell, that's what leftovers were for. Then again, he'd made brunch, so it was only natural (or so it seemed), that he'd made an abundance of food. "It's no trouble," he assured her with a wave of his hand. "Brunch is a fun word. It sounded like crunch, only I didn't make a lot of crunchy foods. Well, I dunno, I suppose the bacon's crunchy." Brunch didn't really lend itself to crunchiness unless you included things like celery. They'd been out of that.

Brushing away the thoughts, he pushed in Lenne's chair for her once she'd sat down and moved to the opposite side of the table, moving some food onto his plate. The tea and juice he'd made were in the center (orange was a popular choice for breakfast juice, wasn't it?), in a clear spot so it was easy to reach - they really didn't need the juice being buried under the waffles.
