It was pretty much everything he had feared... More or less. The Organization was injecting everyone with light and dark? Were they that insane? Too much light could kill demons. At least that's what he thought. And the fact that they already had been testing on a demon just... nugh, did not want to think about this anymore. There was no choice, if Emizel wanted to not get experimented on he had to find that floor, and fast. Which is probably what lead him all the way back to the gate again. The one that... NiGHTS had tried to take him through.
NiGHTS was still missing, and it was all still his fault. Had Emizel not ask him to show him where the next floor might be he would be okay right now. He should have been far more careful about all of that.
Maybe, just maybe, if he could find where the guards took NiGHTS to, maybe he could rescue him. The guards really weren't all that tough as long as Emizel kept a distance from them. But... pulling a prison break, that would be way more harder. Of course if Emizel did absolutely nothing, that guilt would never go away.
... Maybe just finding where NiGHTS could be was enough for now. He could decide the rest from there.

And she didn't want to cause a ruckus with her guns, knives, or other weapons yet. Might as well look pretty and innocent for a while longer. Sticking her journal in her pocket, she settled in for some information gathering. She could at least try to figure out the schedule for the guards and attack at their weakest moment.

... Well, it wasn't like he was the social type, and had other things he could be doing right now. Maybe he should just leave them alone.

He couldn't have been from the city itself.
Getting up, she slowly walked over to the kid, being careful to keep her distance from the strange flame...who knew exactly what it could do.
"Excuse me..." She said, then waiting for a response before continuing.

You had his attention now.

"I am sorry, but...just...your hat... it seems to be on fire?" Yeah, dumb, but warranted, considering it was something she wasn't really used to.

He reached back to grab the 'tail' end of the hood and bring the flame up closer. It grew in size while doing so, but then went back to its normal shape. "You mean this?"
There was a warmth coming off of it, however, it didn't seem like it could be hot enough to burn anything.

"I got some control over it so it's never been a problem anyway," case in point, he just stuck his other hand into the flame and it still did nothing to him.

"I apologize, I have been being rude. I am Ziva..." She said, before glancing at the guards again, and trailing off. Apparently, it was a shift change, or something, because there were two groups now, chatting between themselves, then the previous group leaving. She chuckled before glancing at her journal and making a note.
"This is good to know..."

"You weren't planning on getting through the gate, were you?" he finally asked the other quietly. Even if it was already obvious that she couldn't be out here waiting for anything else.

It was nice knowing one of the guards weak points. However, leaving now just didn't settle right. Not after the mess he made the first time.

He won't be asking for help though. The whole problem happened all because he asked for help in the first place. Last thing he needed was now even more people involved with it.

"... This is something I probably should do alone." Yup, alone. Because that's the
heroicadult thing to do, right?Tag fail...
"As you wish then, but if later you decide you do want help, let me know."

If there was nothing more to say, he was thinking about taking his leave, now.
