Getting out of the cold
Character(s): Cid Highwind and Rose Tyler
Content: In the midst of the snow and cold, Cid has a visitor
Setting: Cid's shop
Time: Afternoon
Warnings: Cid
Cid was sick of the snow. Okay, so most of the time his trips outside of his store weren't much more than the general sort of everyday errands that needed to happen in order to keep things running it was still damned irritating. He'd gotten used to the place not having weather inside the domes, much though he would have been loathe to admit it, and to have it start having weather now wasn't exactly comforting. Still, he'd done what he could. It wasn't like he was expecting anyone to brave the snow, but making sure it didn't entirely overtake the storefront gave him something to do at the very least.
At the moment, however, he was tending to the various mechanical workings that his hobbies were comprised of, while the ever-present teapot was working on getting the latest batch of water suitably heated.

Well, she wouldn't argue with that; it was freezing out there. She rubbed her hands together to warm them. "Just a bit, yeah."
She started poking around the shop, though, honestly, she probably didn't have anything on her to barter with even if she did find something to buy. "You get a lot of customers in?" The merchandise didn't seem to be the sort of things the locals would buy, but she had been wrong before.
