Character(s): Jecht, Meg, guards...
Content: The two decide to blow this popsicle stand, and head out to the land of permasunny.
Setting: Jecht's place → Joutenheim
Time: How can you tell? It's snow o'clock pm.
Warnings: Shirtless Jecht, and shameless flirting I suspect.

Jecht was just about finished packing a bag full of useful items -- some utensils, tools... some food for the trip. He was sure that once they got out to the islands he'd be able to find something edible out there. And besides... that dream version of the kid had said he was a fisherman wasn't he? Yeah... the more he thought about it, the more he was convinced he could probably wrangle one in with his bare hands.

With a grin he strapped the last few things into place, and fastened it shut, slinging it across his back. "That about does it," he nodded, wondering how proud Auron would be to know he was going in prepared.

"Ugh," she could merely groan in response. Times like this, she really wished there was something like a heated chariot or something. He really expected them to trudge through this weather all the way to another floor? Still, his hand wrapped around her hand was warm and comforting, rough to the touch though it was. Using her free hand to grasp her cloak even more tightly closed, she watched his craggy profile was they walked.

Even now, a part of her still wanted to wrench her hand away and go disappearing into the snow, away from him. What if she got hurt again? What if he got hurt? She couldn't tell what Hades might be thinking of her relationship with Jecht, but she'd bet her last drachma it wasn't anything good. Anything that made her happy was bad in Hades' book.
