Off to a start [Complete]

Character(s): Emizel and Scar
Content: New arrival, time to look for the person responsible for all this.
Setting: Vanaheim
Time: Afternoon-ish
Warnings: Derping Deaths and trolling lions, oh my!

Someone had better be explaining what was going on here and they better do it quick. Because so far, not much about this place was making much sense at all. Or heck, how about someone just point the way back home so he could just do that instead. That would be perfectly acceptable too.

Well the guards were at least nice enough to hand over a map, which should make things much easier for him. Somewhere on here had to be a clue where to find the person in charge of this city. Any sort of important political buildings. Something at least.

For now, unless you have a knack for noticing strangely dressed kids that stand out from the mundane looking city dwellers, there's really nothing all that exciting going on here. Too busy staring at a map to notice anything unusual anyway.

Another demon? Scar caught the boy's scent in the air well before he saw him, though the cold wind was carrying smells much shorter distances than he was used to. Something else about the demon seemed rather...off, but then, that was often true of the ones he'd spoken to. He had only rarely encountered them face to face, far more often he'd spied them from his perch on a balcony.

The boy seemed to be lost in a map, which was quite the norm for new arrivals.

"Having trouble finding your bearings?" the lion asked as he approached.

Nervousness? That was a trait Scar hadn't been expecting. Overconfidence was far more common in the demons he'd met. Intriguing.

"And who might that be?" If only these demons actually looked anywhere close to their real ages. For all Scar could tell the boy could be just about any age from a few years to a few millenia. It was really rather frustrating trying to sort all of that out, especially if you were intending to get on a demon's good side...

"Oh, none of us are supposed to be here." Scar put on the gentlest of smiles.

"You see them?" He raised his head and indicated the crowds of blond-haired, blue-eyed bipeds thronging about aimlessly. "They're they only ones who were ever meant to be here. As for the rest of us..." His face drooped. "None of us have seen 'home' in a very long time."

"I'm afraid I hardly know anything about them. Only that they're some shadowy fellows calling themselves the 'Organization.' They hardly sound very intimidating, if you ask me." Scar brought a paw to his chest, paired with a toothy grin.

"Sadly, it seems no one's managed to learn just why they've all brought us here."

"If any of us knew that, I would have been able to give far better answers for your questions than I just did." Really, Scar would have thought that was rather obvious. Regardless of his age, this boy was quickly proving that he wasn't very bright.

"Good luck. Only a scant few of us have ever had the pleasure. And before you ask, I'm not one of them." The boy was proving himself astonishingly predictable, which meant at the same time he was also rather dull. Scar couldn't see anything useful to glean from him at all, though perhaps that would change if he was able to learn more. Sadly, that would have to wait, as this conversation looked as though it would be cut short by the boy's impatience.

Oh, maybe the boy had some bite to him after all. Not that it mattered, the conversation had run its course by now.

"Oh, any time~" Scar replied, almost daintily. "Just one last thing. Don't be surprised if you see people you know, this place has a nasty habit of collecting them in groups." There was just enough of malice in his tone and in his grin that it would be difficult to distinguish whether that was a threat or a warning.
