The crunch, crunch, crunch started to sound beneath her heels as she began the trek. Focusing on the ground beneath her feet caused her thoughts to wander, as well. Back to moments spent with the others in Ketterburg -- and how, even thought those were trying times, she couldn't have imagined happier ones. With Jade and Anise teasing Guy... and Luke trying to make amends for his actions... Luke... there was a part of her that ached, thinking about him. What if he had returned to Auldrant by now? Suddenly, the hairs on the back of Tear's neck began to rise. She stopped dead in her tracks and stood still, listening, an ominous feeling starting to fill the air around her. Her eyes darted towards the white-covered ground, where suddenly a group of heartless sprang forth, popping up from their shadowy depths!

The soldier cursed quietly, chastising herself for allowing herself to get so lost in thought that she hadn't noticed their approach. She dropped her belongings abruptly, and immediately took hold of her staff, holding it high in the air. "Pow Hammer!" she summoned the small mallets to stun the creatures.

This was not good... they had managed to surround her! With a fierce look in her eyes, she attempted to calculate a battle plan, but wasn't left with much time as one of the creatures dove towards her. She managed to push it back with her weapon, and took a half step back. No good! If she didn't have any time to be able to cast, then...!
