That Which Curdles Blood [Voice]
Character(s): (Domina) Shantotto and? Please let me know if you'd like to hop in!
Content: Domina has a plot, and is trying to figure out how to set it in motion.
Setting: TBD
Time: TBD
Warnings: ...I cannot possibly put enough danger warnings in here. Don't tag if you don't want your character risking their hide. XD
It hadn't taken long for her to decide on what course of action she wanted to take, the problem was her apparent lack of power. Oh, she still had plenty, of course! She just knew she was missing roughly half. How unfortunate she wasn't sure where her missing half was.
What she needed was to find was a power source. This would have been easy in Vana'diel; the protocrystals might have done quite nicely, but this wasn't Vana'diel and there was no protocrystals. So, what else could she use?
That's what she was looking for. There had to be something she could use. Something to feed the spell she was forming in her head. A power source!
Once she could find what she needed, there was little doubt everything else would fall into place. With the threat of her spell - a curse, looming over everyone in the castle, there was little doubt Xemnas would have no choice BUT to surrender to her! Her curse would seal the deal, she was certain.
Pausing in her thoughts, she looked up in disdain as she realized snow was starting to fall from the darkened sky. Snow? Well, this could be a nuisance, but it was of little concern to her for now.

Carefully, she checked the area again, but couldn't quite put her finger on the source. Sure, there were some citizens about, scowling at her choice of clothing as she'd gotten used to, but that didn't explain the hair on the back of her neck that began to rise...

That girl! Terra had quickly gotten Shantotto's attention the moment she'd seen her coming up the street. Despite being half, her magic senses seemed to be no less keen. That girl had a great deal of power; a power that felt not so different from that she would find in Vana'diel.
With Terra at a stop, Shantotto approached from behind, attempting to look nonchalant. "For weather like this you seem rather poorly dressed, or is there something else that has you so terribly distressed?"

Terra looked down at herself, as though she hadn't noticed how ill equipped for the weather she had been. "You're right, I wasn't expecting it to be like this..." she admitted, dropping her line of sight to the side. "For as long as I've been here I've never seen it snow like this..."

"In fact, we feel it's quite suspicious," she continued, hand thoughtfully at her chin. "It almost seems like someone's idea of being vicious."
While it didn't actually concern her in the least, there was no denying it was suspicious. The weather had been quite pleasant even just earlier that day. What had caused such a radical change? Something or someone, perhaps?
Well, it was still no concern to her, but Terra didn't need to know that fact.
