Character(s): Rory & Whoever he runs into
Content: Rory goes searching for the Doctor cause he just can't sit around in the TARDIS forever.
Setting: Starting at Central Station and working way outwards
Time: Week 34, a few days after this
Warnings: Panicked Rory? IDK none.

He knew this wasn't going to be easy, but Rory's life had stopped being easy as soon as he'd even heard about the "raggedy Doctor." He could only imagine what Amy would have to say about the Doctor's whereabouts. She probably wouldn't have let him wander off, granted, but Rory wasn't exactly sure where he stood with the Doctor currently. They hadn't been through the same things together, the Doctor barely knew him. But, that was just it, wasn't it? Rory HAD to find him and make sure he was okay because Rory HAD gotten to know him. Amy would not be happy if she found out Rory had not only lost the Doctor but gotten him in trouble that might affect the future.

He pulled up the map of Paixao. He'd been studying it on and off since he got here but it was only good for this floor of the castle. Rory wasn't sure he was ready to venture UP yet, but if it came to that he certainly would. His plan was to start in the middle, coincidentally where he had last met with the Doctor (Central Station) before moving out in a circle and searching for the man. If he hadn't found him by then that meant Rory would have to start looking on the upper flowers and venture there. He really hoped it didn't come to that.

"Right, so, big place...better get started," Rory muttered to himself as he pocketed his journal device and started heading for the Station where he could begin his search.

Donna hopped off the train she had been on. The woman she had met there, Suki, had been a great help in informing her about the place, and she had wanted to get exploring. She figured starting in the center and heading out from there might help her at least get her bearings straight before she tried to head anywhere else...and that included finding the Doctor. She now knew he was around, but she just didn't know where he was in this place yet.

She didn't even know if he was still in the city. But, knowing him, he was off on another of the floors Suki mentioned, probably even causing his own sort of trouble.

"Oi Spaceman...now what." She muttered, standing on the platform and reading some of the signs, trying to figure out exactly where to go.

Well, one thing seemed certain, The Doctor wasn't at the train station. Rory knew very well it probably wasn't going to be the first place he checked, but still he couldn't help feeling a little disappointed. Rory was heading for the train station's exit when a flash of red hair caught his eye. It was ridiculous, really, how quickly he whipped around. It wasn't as if Amy Pond was the only red-head in the universe. Still, he'd been keeping an eye out for his wife ever since he got here and any sign, even the smallest, was enough to get his attention.

Rory, never exactly the graceful one, stumbled a bit before straightening up. It wasn't Amy, BUT it might be someone who had a clue where the Doctor might be. After all, wasn't part of a good search asking around and getting information. "Excuse me," Rory called out, crossing the station towards the red headed woman, "Hi. I was wondering if you could help me. I'm looking for a man wearing a bow tie who goes around calling himself the Doctor."

Donna turned when she heard the voice, seemingly addressing her. No one she knew, but at least it wasn't one of the strange blonde citizens of this place. They were unnerving in Donna's opinion, definitely not normal. Hearing the man's request, she raised an eyebrow.

"Well, strange. He doesn't happen to wear a pinstripe suit, does he? Carries a screwdriver everywhere?" She never saw the Doctor wear a bow tie, but honestly, she wouldn't put it past him, in a way. As long as he didn't wear it with that suit he was always wearing. It might clash. But, that wasn't the point. Someone here might know where the Doctor was hiding, even if she couldn't get it out of the spaceman himself.

Rory was bothered by the blonde people too. He hadn't bothered talking to them much since they didn't seem like they'd be much help in trying to find the Doctor's location. It was one reason that despite this red-head not being Amy he was still pretty excited. After all, she might be a lead.

And she was...but she was looking for the wrong Doctor. Also, he realized, she must be new if she wasn't aware of both of them. Rory shifted, "Well the screwdriver, yeah, but he doesn't really wear that other stuff anymore. He's more of a...suspenders and tweed jacket kind of bloke now." Great, first Rose had to explain it to him and now he was going to have to return the favor to whoever this was. He wasn't even sure he COULD explain it.

"Suspenders and tweed jacket...That's...different." She stopped there, thinking of what happened right before she showed up there. Maybe the daleks had hit him...causing something to happen to him before she showed up there...but she had just been talking to him. He had seemed just fine...said he wasn't hurt.

Oh, this was just confusing.

"Well, the bloke I was just talking to on this..." She tapped her journal with one finger. "sounded very much like the Doctor I'm used to. Granted, Spaceman has some tricks up his sleeve, and this sounds like one of them, we have to be talking about the same Doctor." She stopped for a second.

"Flying blue box, and all that?"

Now it was starting to make a bit more sense. This person was from his Doctor's past and...well who knew where she fell with her Doctor. Okay, that made it confusing again, but he knew what he meant. He was starting to get a headache though. Rory nodded, "Yeah, flying blue box that can go anywhere."

Time to try and explain this. "Right, well, that would be the other Doctor. See, this place is weird and two of them wound up here somehow. It's all pretty confusing really and probably shouldn't be able to happen...but that's the Doctor for you I guess." He paused, not sure if any of that had made sense. "The one you're talking about's been working on figuring out where we are I think. Not sure if his TARDIS is parked in the same place it was last I was over there. The one I'm looking for however has gone missing. Usually he'd have made some sort of...incident by now but it's been a little too quiet for him, as you can imagine."

He felt like he was getting ahead of himself. He held out his hand, "I'm Rory, by the way. Rory Williams."

Oh boy... This was all making Donna's head hurt. But, what could she do at this point. Two Doctors in the same place wasn't making much sense to her, but she could probably squeeze more information out about what was going on when she found her Doctor. But, she was with someone who knew more than she did now, at least.

"I'm Donna. Donna Noble." She shook Rory's hand with a smile, only smiling at the comment about quiet, knowing that all too well. "Well, I'll help you. If it's been that quiet, even with MY Doctor around, something's happened. We'll have to get him back somehow."

The Doctor seemed to have a real problem about talking about past companions. First Rose and now Donna and Rory hadn't heard about either of them. It made him curious more than anything. Why had they stopped traveling with him? Of course, if they thought they were STILL supposed to be then there was only one person Rory could ask (but he wasn't sure that was something the Doctor wanted to talk about because if he DID he would have already). Rory shook his head, he was giving himself a headache again.

"Thanks. I only just started so I've got a lot of ground to cover," he paused as he turned to start searching again, "We can keep an eye out for the Doctor you know too. He's around somewhere, he spoke to me recently." Rory knew the other Doctor was busy but if things proved futile in finding his Doctor he was going to drag the previous Doctor into it whether he liked it or not. "You just got here right? I can show you around some places while we look if you like."

Donna watched as Rory shook his head, again. "Let me guess, your Doctor just as confusing as mine?" It was weird, referring to him as though he were two entities, but apparently here, he was.

"Oi, Spaceman was talking to me too. I'll find him eventually." It was on her list, but if the other Doctor was in some sort of trouble, she wanted to help find him first. Who knew what this place actually was. "So, where do we start?"
