Procrastination Destination [Inactive]

Character(s): Rory Williams and the Eleventh Doctor
Content: The Doctor finally stops mucking about and picks up Rory.
Setting: Central Station, for now
Time: Late morning, after this post
Warnings: None.

He really hadn't meant to wait this long. It was rare, though, that he interacted with his future, and things had happened, and... alright, fine, he'd been procrastinating. He didn't like people knowing more than him, not in general, even if Rory seemed to be a perfectly nice bloke. But Rory deserved better than this - the Doctor had abandoned enough people over the years, and he reminded himself guiltily of this fact as he walked in the direction of Central Station. Besides, what was he going to do, leave him alone and risk the Master getting ahold of him or his younger self learning something he shouldn't?

Never. Never again. It had already happened with so many of his companions - he wouldn't allow it to happen another time, especially not when he could prevent it. So he looked around at the station for Rory, hands in his pockets, and decided on a subtle, gentle approach so as not to startle anyone.

"RORY!"

Rory was not at all surprised to find out that the fez had been murdered. Perhaps that was just the way it was meant to be...something that couldn't be changed. No matter what, the Doctor could NOT have a fez. The idea amused Rory, although he was certain that the circumstances behind its death were probably not as insane as the one Rory had witnessed.

"Good, I guess. It's been quiet as far as I can tell but I figured that wouldn't last long as soon as I met up with you again." To be honest, Rory was starting to get sick of the quiet anyway. This might seem strange, given that Rory is usually a big advocate of peace and quiet...but not this bad. Usually he'd at least have Amy around to spice things up for him. Even Rory could be driven to boredom it seemed and since Amy wasn't here, well, the Doctor was the next craziest thing (although the Doctor probably would have argued he was the first).
