It had not seemed like much but the effects had certainly proven otherwise. Still, if this was all they had caused this was a very good sign. “Good, good.” He replied approvingly. “Then we’ll start right away. The kitchen stove will work just fine. Now, let’s see. Wormwood, lavender, snake oil, rotten egg, spider juice, a hint of cinnamon… Oh, this is will be easy. And here I was worried we’d need unicorn hair.” Genie laughed to himself and marked the books page with a ribbon before closing it. “Snake oil always had a certain bite to it and brains almost impossible to mash up without a few chunks left over but you’ll hardly even notice. We’ll disguise the taste with something else, something fruity and fun. I know just the thing.”

“This should only take a few minutes or so. I’m no potions master but I believe I’ll have this done fairly quickly. If I were to go downstairs and brew this, would be alright up here?” Whether or not Vyers could keep out of trouble was Genie’s true question. With so many potions around, something was bound to occur, curiosity always getting the best of people. He could only hope the demons current state was warning enough not to touch anything else.
