Maybe he had gotten his canon mixed up. That or he was confusing demons and vampires for one another again. At least as far as time was concerned. He was certain Vyers didn’t drink blood. Either way, he nodded in response. Time flew by faster for him. He had grown so accustom to long periods spent inside the lamp, simply feeling time move around him, a millennia itself had become quick, a century was almost the blink of an eye.

Genie chuckled at the demons worry that Urd’s ‘cure’ would cause him to look the way he did. “Nope! I’m afraid I have to stick to more traditional and barbaric remedies. I’ve never fully understood some of them myself, but if they work, I can’t complain. Like I said, Genie’s are different. I mean, we’re allergic to guava! Do you have any idea how awkward it is when you get those in fruit basket or find it in your drink?” He sighed dramatically and tossed the tray he had been holding to the side, its content, as well as the tray itself, vanished in a cloud of blue smoke before it had the chance to meet the floor. “To skip the biology lesson, Urd’s potion won’t have the same effect on me because of my molecular makeup. Love potions and all that jazz has just never mixed well with genies since the start. Why do you think we can’t make anybody fall in love, because we’re like Doctor Phil? No. We’re far trendier when it comes to facial hair.”
