As the weapon was deflected Axel held out his hand to catch it again on the way back, caught off guard by the intensity of the burst of light. With chakram back in hand, he shielded his face and staggered backwards. When it subsided, he relaxed his arms again, and revealed a sneer.

"Something you should understand well, Keyblade Master! Protecting what's mine! Burn, baby!" and with that, he lifted both arms above his head, a rush of flames sent out to engulf Sora, dissipating a moment later.
