leave it for the morning in the afterlife. [ active / open ]
Character(s): Fang & OPEN.
Content: Arrival~
Setting: Vanaheim gate.
Time: Let's go for mid-morning on this one.
Warnings: Probably none.
"Right, well that's not much help," she shook her head, taking the object that was handed to her. How exactly she'd wound up in these new surroundings was beyond her as well. Last thing she knew they were traveling across Gran Pulse and then -- she woke up here, outside the large gate leading to the dome encasement.
Fang walked away from the 'welcoming booth' with s sigh, hands going to her hips as she took a look around. First waking up in enemy territory... now this place? She wasn't even sure if this was part of Cocoon, but it certainly wasn't Gran Pulse. The blonde haired natives didn't offer much in the way of information, either. Paixao, they'd called it... Damned if she'd ever heard of a place like that.
She frowned, and looked down at the object again, turning it around in her hands. "Wonder how this works..."

Hey, for all she knew -- maybe she could pass as someone who belonged here, too. No need to be labeled a threat -- again (of course, unbeknownst to her, randoms were not only common, but welcome).

"...Fang? Fang!" she called, ready to fling her arms around the other woman. Only...
There was someone else there. Someone blonde. Who was that?
"Erm..." Vanille tilted her head curiously, "Is everything alright?"

With a slight wave of her arm, she turned again to Jenny, "Just came outta that gate over there," the nodded in the direction of Vanaheim, "And this young lady here was just about to give me a crash course in that device that they handed over. Can't make much sense of it, myself..."

When Fang gestured to her, and called her 'young lady' it finally occurred to Jenny that she had yet to introduce herself. Though perhaps it wasn't so bad to have waited, now she could introduce herself to two people instead of just the one, and so, she just kept her smile and spoke up again.
"Oh, using the journal really isn't too complicated. Especially once you get the hang of it. Plus, it's great to have around so you can keep in contact with other residents around here." She paused before moving onto one of the more important topics. Or atleast, it was an important topic in her view. "Sorry, I don't think I ever got around to introducing myself, did I? Well, let's get introductions over with, shall we? I'm Jenny! Pleasure to meet you both."

"I have somethin' to - " she glanced at Jenny, cutting herself off mid-sentence, "You'll get it." she smiled, choosing to encourage Fang instead, "Nice to meet you, Jenny."
Turning away from Fang, she clasped her hands behind her back.
"So! Where to first?" her bright smile was mostly feigned, but not many could see through it.

Out from the corner of her eye she watched Vanille's moves closely. It was good to see her smiling, and in relatively good spirits, but... something about it seemed off. Almost like there was something missing, but...
"Well," she crossed her arms, "not to sound ungrateful with the welcoming party an' all, but the exit sounds good to me. Doesn't seem like they're too keen on letting us out through there, eh?" she nodded back towards the gate she'd come in from, frowning.
