Insert travelling music here [Active/closed]
Character(s): Setzer and Xion
Content: Xion's wandering around Paixao (as usual) and runs into someone...
Setting: Somewhere in the area of Vanaheim
Time: Afternoon
Xion had gotten pretty good at navigating her way around Paixao by now, given that the time she didn't spend with her friends was usually taken up by her wandering (mostly so she didn't have to go back to the Organization). The people still looked at her weird, but she was learning to ignore them and just try to enjoy the city. Most of it was actually really nice, especially the beach. Which was where she was heading now.
She was still a ways off from the gate, but the beach was already in her mind as she headed along. The one on the floor that looked like Sora's world was nicer- but she felt weird going up there by herself. And the one outside the gate wasn't bad. (Not that she had but so much to compare it with.) So she walked towards the gate, trying not to stand out- but a petite figure with their face hidden under a hood did attract a few stares. At least she wasn't in her uniform.

And given like's tendency to call for like, he couldn't help but notice the hooded figure heading through the streets. What their reason for going about hooded was, he had no idea, and honestly he didn't much care. He could at least offer some company, and without a further thought, he headed so that their paths would neatly intersect. No sense in running after them.
"Care for some company?" he asked, as he drew near.

"Setzer Gabbiani," he answered with a smile. "Most people call me Setzer."

Still, now it was the inevitable slow point in the conversation. Xion was never good with talking to people she didn't know, and, well... she knew absolutely nothing about this person, not even where he was going or anything. She really wished she could get better at this part.

It was always nice to meet new people, after all. Presuming, of course, they were no Kefka, and thus far Setzer wasn't getting that sense from Xion. Even if she did seem to prefer keeping her hood up. Better yet, he was quite will to carry on the bulk of the conversation, if that was what was asked of him.
"Might I ask where we're going?"

"Quite alright. I've no problems with the beach."

"Longer than most people here, I'd wager."

"What do you think of the place, if I may ask?"

"I can imagine that does bring some joy into this hand."

Provided judicious application of not thinking about any of the problems at hand, and yes, it probably wasn't all that healthy in the least, but it was a start. And for now, it generally managed to work.

They reached the beach soon after, Xion smiling as they reached the sand. "Did they have beaches on your world?" she asked, curious.
no subject
"All sorts of beaches," he answered with a smile.
