Anybody get the license number of that bike that hit me?
Character(s): Cloud, Hope and Tidus
Content: Cloud makes a… smashing entrance?
Setting: Joutenheim
Time: Early Morning
Warnings: Minor violence? Possibly?
It was a routine delivery. There shouldn't have been any major problems or delays or anything of that sort. In fact, Cloud was so used to this particular route that getting lost was simply impossible. So, imagine Cloud's surprise when that's exactly what happened.
There was no explaining how he got lost, though. One moment he was on the road to Kalm, and the next he was in the middle of an unfamiliar path. A path that, unfortunately, had people on it. Though, thankfully, being early in the morning, the path was a lot emptier than it could have been.
He avoided them as best he could, but he ended up getting dangerously close to one of them. He tried to swerve out of the way, ended up losing control of Fenrir and went careening into the elaborate gate.

He lay there, trying to catch the breath he'd lost in the suddenness of it all, and just looked up at the sky. The sound of the bike crashing made him jump to his feet and stare in the direction of the wreck. The sight was an all too familiar one, though the setting was definitely new.

Not out-of-control motorcycles speeding through gates.
Especially not out-of-control motorcycles speeding through gates that almost hit him.
Thankfully, the guy, whoever he was, did a decent job at swerving just in time, possibly helped by Tidus flinging himself backwards, out of harm's way. He recovered quickly enough, quickly regaining his footing, and heard a shout. It wasn't long before he saw the damage - the guy on the bike had crashed, and there was a kid standing nearby. Had the shout been from him, or from the driver? Either way, Tidus wasn't going to walk away without taking a look.
"Is, um...everyone okay, over here?" he said, getting a little bit closer to the damage.

"I'm fine," But what about the other one? He knew the blond boy wasn't the only one he nearly ran over. Cloud quickly scanned the area and noticed a younger boy with slivery looking hair. He dismounted his bike, and ran over to where the boy was.
"Are you alright?" He asked, trying, and hopefully not failing, to be soothing.

He clenched his fists tight and gestured toward the wreck that was the remains of the motorcycle and the gate that it had just careened into. "Why weren't you looking where you were going?"
no subject
It was his angry reply that encouraged Tidus to speak up...because, honestly, he couldn't blame him for reacting like that - he didn't like nearly getting hit, either - but it didn't really look to him like the driver was to blame.
"Woah, wait. Maybe it was just an accident." Honestly, Tidus would be pretty upset himself...if he hadn't thought of where they were. But this was the gate where he had entered the city, which made him think that maybe the guy hadn't seen the gate coming because it shouldn't have been coming. Guess the only thing he could do, he realized, was ask. "Seriously, though, what were you doing?" he said, turning back to the blonde guy.
no subject
"I was," Cloud replied. "This place just came out of nowhere." Yeah, it was a completely worthless excuse, but it was true, logic be dammed.
no subject
"All right...fine. Makes as much sense as anything else here does."
no subject
no subject
"What is this place, anyway?" He asked as he walked over to the remains of the gate to survey the damage done to Fenrir. He wasn't really mechanically inclined, but as far as he could tell the damage could have been worse? There appeared to be more damage to the gate than the bike, Fenrir was built rather like a tank after all. But he still should probably get it looked at.

Tidus wasn't really used to being the information guy, but there was one detail that he thought now would be a good time to share...the guy may have just crashed his bike, but that didn't mean holding off on the bad news was going to help - somebody had to tell him what was going on sooner or later.
"Then, after that...you might want to look for your friends and get comfortable, because we're all stuck here."
no subject
"Stuck here?"

And personally, as happy as Tidus was to be somewhere - especially with the people he cared about most - at all, he wasn't a big fan of the fact that they were stuck, either.
"Right, because some mysterious group of weirdos has us trapped. The Organization, or something."
no subject
This was both suspicious and a little hard to take in. How could anyone have the power suddenly kidnap people like this? Cloud gave the boys the benefit of the doubt though. They looked as out of place as he did in this city, so the same thing probably happened to them.
"What's this 'organization' after, anyway?"
no subject
"...My name's Hope."
no subject
"I'm Tidus." he said, also introducing himself. He glanced at Hope as well, since they had never met before, either, but didn't move.
no subject
Barely a moment had passed after Cloud introduced himself when several blue creatures suddenly appeared around the group, as if the universe wasn't done toying with them today.
no subject
"What are those things?!" He pulled out his boomerang, and cast Protect on himself, then Tidus, then Cloud, before anything could happen.
no subject
"I'm all for making sure they don't stick around, though." he said. Without even thinking about it, he cast Hastega on the group as he drew Brotherhood. Sure, the creatures didn't look too powerful, or too fast...but better to be safe than sorry.
no subject
The blue creatures didn't look like that much of a threat, he'd seen worse, far worse. Not that Cloud was the type to underestimate something, though. He took two powerful swings at one of the creatures, hitting it faster than normal and it disappeared in a puff of smoke.
"These things aren't that tough..."

"These guys are nothing!" he said, brimming with confidence. At this rate, and with the three of them working together, the...whatever-they-were's would be gone in no time.
no subject
He concentrated for a moment as a blue aura of energy flared up around him. Then he hit the crowd of blue creatures with three very powerful, and very wide sword slashes, leaving behind gold after effects that faded a moment after the blue creatures faded into darkness.
no subject
"What were those things, anyway?" he asked, walking back over to Cloud and Tidus.
no subject
"Who knows?" he replied. "But they won't be showing up here again if they know what's good for them."
no subject
Because Cloud had more important things to worry about. Like getting his bike out of the rubble that was the gate and getting it fixed. He walked over to sight of the destruction and tried to size up the situation.
no subject
"Uh...you want some help with that?"
no subject
"It would probably be a lot easier to get it out with all three of us." he added to Hope's question.
no subject
He started to dig the bike out of the rubble, focusing on the smallest rocks first, after those were out of the way, they could deal with the larger ones.
no subject
"Alexander!" he called softly as the crystal shattered itself over his head. The massive Eidolon rocketed out of the sky and crashed into the ground right next to Hope. "Hey big guy, think you could help Cloud with his bike?"
The Eidolon unceremoniously lifted the bike out of the wreckage, though just enough care was taken that his grip wouldn't do any further damage to the vehicle. "Just carry it with us, okay?"
no subject
So, that kid...he was some kind of summoner?
"I...guess that's one way to do it." he commented, still keeping his distance.
