Things Are Getting a Little Goofy Around Here [Completed]
Character(s): Max, open to anyone
Content: Max arrives in Paixao
Setting: Joutenheim
Time: Mid-afternoon
Warnings: None expected
"Where am I?" Max asked the air. He'd woken up and didn't remember where he was once or twice before, but in the middle of a field of white grass outside a huge dome? That was definitely a new one. A big line of people were going inside the gate, so Max shrugged and stood up. He was fully clothed too…hadn't he been sleeping in his undershirt and boxers? He shook his head and got in line, figuring it had to lead to…well, something.
"Hey, do you know where we are?" he asked the guy in front of him. He pouted a bit as he was completely ignored. "Fine, sorry I asked. Geez." For the rest of the wait, Max was silent, then got a box shoved into his hand and a gruff "Welcome to Paixao," from the guy at the desk. He was quickly ushered inside before he could ask any questions.
And man was the inside of this place rad. He'd never seen anything like it, not even in pictures of those old castles and cathedrals and stuff in Europe. The trees were made of metal and the leaves were all jewels, and there were statues and things everywhere. Cobblestone pavement lined the streets, and the buildings all looked like those really old fancy ones you'd see if you went to the right place in a city. His jaw dropped as he stared at all of it.

Something about the guy gave him a bad feeling. Maybe it was the blue hair, or the pointy ears, or the yellow eyes, or, gee, the big scar over his face, but he figured it would probably be a good idea to not get in this guy's way if he could avoid it.
