It would take her some time to get used to this device. Nana certainly would be at the ready to learn, once given the opportunity. Not just with her journal, but just about everything there is that she doesn't already know about the outside world.

Nana heard the friendly voice of that nice man who introduced himself as Woody Pride in the background as she began to reply. "I haven't heard from Papa yet. But some friendly people, and one animal said they'd try to help look for him..." She paused, and let the worry and guilt show on her face. "One who's a lion named Scar... Two of who I talked to said he's dangerous. They said he's killed someone in his family. And I..." Her eyes lowered. "They warned me about him, after I told him what Papa looked like."

Deep in her heart, she felt solely responsible, even though she hadn't meant to give Papa's description to someone like Scar. Even if she hadn't meant to put Papa in twice as much danger, she still felt so worried about that.

Scar didn't know about her special arms, her vectors. If she had to, she'd hurt him first, before he would do anything to Papa.

Kakyuu of course didn't know about her vectors either, and Papa had specifically told Nana not to tell anybody about them. Nana was a good girl, and wanted to stay that way for him. It's what had kept her going for a very long time. Even though these given instructions were not always easy to follow, she knew she had to keep her special arms and hands a secret.
