Little Pink Riding Hood [Active]
Character(s): Lottie, Wolf
Content: Lottie settles back into her townhouse and gets a gentleman caller. Who has a tail.
Setting: Promenade Terrace
Time: Week 29, Afternoon
Warnings: None
There were no words to describe the relief Lottie had felt when she opened the door to her old townhouse and found it empty of any new owners. A fine film of dust had accumulated on the furniture she'd bought the last time she was here, but other than that, the house was undisturbed. So though Charlotte LaBouff was forced to clean with her own two hands, a sense of peace and contentment settled in her heart. It was the feeling of being home.
Now she freshened up in her bedroom, sitting at the plain but serviceable wooden vanity. It didn't have gilded gold knobs and the mirror wasn't half as impressive as the one she had back in her own world, but she knew beggars couldn't be choosers. Why, some didn't have a vanity at all! Could you even imagine?
Dressed a deep pink sundress adorned with red ribbons, Lottie carefully curled her eyelashes with mascara. Mr. Wolf was coming and a lady had to look her best! Even if he wasn't a prince.

This was definitely a nice change of pace from all the excitement Wolf had to deal with recently. The heartless, Scar, dealing with the full moon with Remus. It was just a good to finally do something he considered to be fun. Wolf strolled right up to the town house, and knocked on the door. He cleared his throat, and straightened his collar. He had to be a gentleman for this lovely lady after all.

If her expression was anything to go by, this clearly wasn't a complaint.

And at once, Wolf presented the bouquet of flowers to Lottie. They were quite beautiful. They do compliment her eyes as one could see. He gave a slight bow as he gave them to her, “A welcome home present for you… My lady,” Wolf grinned.

Wiggling in excitement like a hyperactive puppy, Lottie bounced back inside. "I'll put these in some water!" In the living room, she made her way to a small table, taking the flowers that were in a vase and replacing them with Wolf's bouquet.

Wolf followed her inside, closing the door behind him. Still as bouncy as he remembered her, he couldn’t help but grin. “Awwwooo, it’s good the have you back Lottie, did you meet anyone new since you came back?” Wolf grazed his fingers through his hair, and then he looked over at Lottie “Ah! Let me help you with that.”
Coming over to Lottie, Wolf reached around her and held his hands over her own. Guiding the flowers into the vase. Breathing in the air Wolf rolled his eyes in a little howl, “Such a sweet aroma.” He wasn’t talking about the flowers though.

"Now, Wolf, do try to control yourself around me," she admonished, eyes glittering with amusement. She busied her slightly shaking hands by needlessly patting her hair into place. "Come on in to the kitchen and I'll make some tea." With that, she lead the way into the small but elegant room making up her kitchen. By one wide window on the far wall was a table and two chair -- a sunny spot for drinking tea.

“Me? Grrrowwf, Why on earth would you suspect me, I’m as gentle as a lamb,” Wolf said combing his hair away from his eyes, lifting one brow up, as if wanting to seem handsome for sweet Lottie. He followed her into the kitchen, putting his hands back in his pockets. He let himself sit in one of the two chairs near the window. Wolf let himself relax as she went to make some tea.

Lottie began making tea, taking water she'd already set to boiling on the stove and pouring it along with several bags of tea into a pitcher. As she began adding heap after heap of sugar into the tea, she continued to chatter. "I still can't believe I came back! I feel like a cat with bags on the feet! Are they just gonna zap me back an' forth whenever they want? Who the heck has that kinda power anyway? I mean, I know there's all kindsa crazy stuff here an' all, but I'm just a regular girl!"
She stopped suddenly, looking down at the pitcher of sweet Southern-style tea. She twirled the wooden spoon she'd been using and gave Wolf a coy smile. "Well, that's not true either. I am Charlotte LaBouff!"

Wolf’s tail wagged from the side, in anticipation for her to join him. He chuckled at the cat comment, he’s gotta admit, the visual was quite amusing. Wolf complied to the back and forth comment, “Well I’d say it’s good that you’re back, I was starting to miss you after all. And oho, I wouldn’t say you’re a regular girl either, you’re definitely one of a kind my dear Lottie!”
Sure Wolf was flirting, but he meant it, she was pretty unique. Very adorable, and very fun to be around, Lottie was just a lovely girl. Wolf smiled at her putting his hands against his chins with kind of a dopey grin. You might as well say Wolf was under the spell of cute, and couldn’t help but be attracted to her.

Lottie sighed, licking some of the tea off her fingers and scampering back to the kitchen to get a towel. "Why don't ya tell me what you've been up to, sugar?" she called over her shoulder, cleaning off the rest of the tea.

Wolf scratched the side of his neck in a quick gruff, and turned around to face her again, relaxing himself a bit before he spoke. “Hm, well, I have been finding out information about this place and some of the creatures that reside here. Just, you know, trying to figure out what they are and where they come from an’ what not. Also I’ve got a roommate now, his name is Remus, he’s a real friendly kid. I’ll have to introduce you two sometime. I’m sure you two will like each other. Real big on tea you know,” Wolf said with a nod. He started to wonder if it’s ok to tell her that he was a wizard or for that matter a wolf like him.

She took a long drink from her tea, sighing in contentment at its sugary goodness. "Have ya heard about any princes or anythin'? If I'm gonna be stuck here again, I'll just make the best of it!"
no subject
Wolf tilted his head, on mention of any princes around Paixao. He lifted his eyes in thought, “Hm, none that I know of,” that got him curious he looked back at Lottie, “Are you looking for one in particular?”
no subject
She blinked out of her daydream, taking a hearty swallow of tea. "An' I bet I have a much better chance of findin' a prince around here than back home."
no subject
“Looking for your Prince Charming, hm?” Wolf said with a soft chuckle, “I’m sure you’ll find him soon enough, there’s no doubt that a wonderful girl like yourself is going to live happily ever after. If it can happen to lovely ladies such as Snow White or Cinderella. Then I’m sure it can happen to you.” He meant that sincerely placing his hand over Lottie’s in assurance. Wolf wasn’t quite so sure about himself really anymore, but he’s sure a girl like Lottie will find true love for sure. Probably will be luckier than him with his experience with that too.
