No Room, No Room [Active]
Character(s): The Mad Hatter and Anyone else who wants to invite themselves to tea with him
Content: Deciding that it was time for Afternoon Tea, the Mad Hatter goes to have tea in the park.
Setting: Jogo da Crianca
Time: Early Afternoon
Warnings: Nothing whatsoever!
It wasn’t long for the Mad Hatter to get well adjusted to the lifestyle of Paixao. It was all in a matter of question, on whether Paixao has adjusted to him. He’s just simply blissfully unaware of such nonsense of anyone who thought ill of him. The Mad Hatter strolled with his picnic basket his way into the Jogo da Crianca, a park, which seemed be the perfect spot for him to have his Afternoon Tea.
Setting up, the Mad Hatter laid down a quilted blanket humming to the tune the Lobster Quadrille. He was in a pleasant mood after all, and must set the mood for himself. He already started setting up the tea set in front of him. A couple of blueberry scones lay out in plate, along with a jar of apricot jam and yogurt butter. The Mad Hatter bit his lip, feeling like he was missing something. Tapping his chin for a moment, he made out an “Oh!” and quickly took out his teapot from the basket.
Pouring a cup of tea, the Mad Hatter, he giggled to himself, “Oh this a wonderful day for tea! I am fond of strawberry flavor. I think it does best with the blueberry. And how many lumps would… you like… Hare…?”
Looking over to the opposite side at the empty spot with teacup laid out for no one. The Mad Hatter was quiet, he remembered his dear friend the March Hare was not with him. He looked down and peered down inside the teapot, nor the Dormouse. Slowly the putting the pot down, he lifted his teacup to his lips, a slight quiver shook the cup. He missed them, he truly did, perhaps he should have brought someone else along for this. The Mad Hatter looked down at his teacup, he felt a little defeated though. To invite someone right now, tea would get cold for him or her wouldn’t it? …Or would it matter?
The Mad Hatter took a sigh, and sipped his cup. Trying to not think about it, he wanted to relax after all, and relaxing is what he’s going to do. Perhaps he should consider thinking of some other tunes to make him happy. The Mad Hatter started to sing a bit almost quietly to himself, “Twinkle, Twinkle little bat, how I wonder where you’re at… Up above the world you fly, like a tea tray in the sky~.”
After a moment though, the Hatter frowned, it just wasn’t the same if no one was listening. He then proceeded to blow bubbles in his teacup in frustration.
