Another lion is exactly what Paixao needed [Active/Open]

Since it's her intro log, I'm gonna go ahead and mark it as multi-thread "party-style"

Then again, it wasn't often she suddenly ended up in a entirely new place, with no idea of how she got there. Vitani had at one time acted as a scout, she knew her directions, where she had come from, how to get back, but Paixao was something entirely new. So, what better thing to do than explore a bit, look around and see what she can find? Which should someone happen to run into her, is exactly what she's doing.

Walking along the streets, she stays out of the way, along the curbs of the walks ways she goes down. Best to not be too conspicuous. She occasionally pauses, sometimes because something like the shiney leaves of the plants caught her eye or because someone walking by got a bit too close for her liking. But then it's only a second before she's wandering around again, just as curious and cautious as before.

After a while, though, she finds a spot to sit down, tired of walking. So, Vitani simply rests a bit, taking a deep breath to try to locate a familiar scent and sighing somewhat irritably when she can find none.

He at first thought to ask Kovu directly, but then again, maybe asking the both of them would be okay. "Do either of you happen to know a meerkat named Timon? It was a while back when he and I went into a conversation over the journals..." He chose to be a bit careful on how to mention a bit of what they talked about. "There was a rather close call I experienced, having to do with a really unnatural fog that used to appear every night."

Jake could have brought up Scar, but to have a confirmation about Timon being somewhere in Paixao would be enough. It was decided right then and there to only go further into a false alibi when there's no dodging around it.

Kovu immediately backed up when Jake mentioned the fog. That was not a thing he wanted to remember. Vitani should know who Timon was, she would let him answer while he tried to clear his head.

He had never had a more terrible night in his entire life than the day that both Mufasa and Zira had shown up at once, and then right in the middle of talking to Sora and Kairi he'd freaked out and ran off. More monsters had shown up...not like those shadow ones...but he hadn't mentioned them to anyone.

For a moment, Vitani's attention is more on Kovu when he backs up. Why would fog seem to unsettle him so much?

But then with a roll of her eyes she turns her attention back from Kovu to Jake. "Yeah, we know him. I spoke to him over the journals as well."

Kovu must have had been affected by the weird manufactured weather, judging by the way he moved. Jake had been too, and since Vitani didn't ask anything about it--he decided not to mention any details. Especially not any details of the vivid illusions he had experienced. There was absolutely no need to. More than enough was going on for Kovu and Vitani to withstand, with how massively different Paixao has been from the Pride Lands. All this he easily understood.

"Timon told me he's been here for quite a long time. Much longer than I have." As he said that, he thought of perhaps asking Timon to come to join him, Marco, Toph, Wolf, and the rest he has kept in contact with before. But he couldn't fully count on everyone being able to make it.

Still, it couldn't hurt to try to reach him later. In fact, there was more than that to think about, while taking the train back to the apartment he now shared with Marco.

"I wouldn't know, I spoke to him, but not too much." It had just been a bit of small talk, and Timon hadn't told Vitani any more than she had already found out elsewhere. And so, she didn't think much of that conversation.

Seems next time she spoke to him, she'll have to ask a few more questions.

Jake just nodded, unsure of what else he could say about the subject at hand. There really wasn't much else to say, anyway. It was overall still very strange to him, hanging around casually with two African cats that weren't just drawn on paper and animated anymore. Not any stranger than some of the other strangeness he's experienced on a week to week basis, but nowhere near to average and ordinary...

"I better get going. I got a friend of mine, from my world who arrived the other day. I should get back to him, and see what he's up to." Staying around any longer would delay on the plans he's made with Marco, Toph, and others.

"So, um, take care and be careful."

"See ya," Kovu muttered without much enthusiasm. He watched as the human walked away, only interested in actually watching the guy leave. Humans weren't very high on the list of people he wanted to be around right now.

"So...who was that guy?" he asked Vitani once Jake was out of earshot. "And what was the point of all that?"

Vitani watches him leave as well, before using a paw to nudge at the bag he left a bit in a curious manner. Strange thing, she'd never seen anything like it before.

"Jake. Some guy who spoke up over the journal thing."

"Right..." That was...odd. Vitani just talking to some random stranger...Kovu was going to have to get used to her acting like this.

"I should probably get back to Kiara," he said, looking in the direction of the park.

Well, she is new. Vitani atleast had enough sense to give a little in order to actually get anywhere.

"Alright. Where are the places to stay around here, anyway?"

Kovu looked confused for a second. "Kiara and I have just been sleeping in the park. It's the only space around here without any of those building things. There was one night that we spent with Simba, but it was really crowded there...and that was because of something special."

"The park?" Let's see, she knew where and how to get food, a very basic idea of the journal and Paixao, who was here, and now where to sleep. Yeah, she figures she's good. "Thanks, then."

"...Did you just...thank me?" Kovu raised an eyebrow. Okay yeah, this was way too weird.

She simply rolls her eyes at him, picking up the bag and standing up, intending to walk off and explore Paixao some more. "I didn't stutter, Kovu."

"Just making sure." Kovu grinned, amused at his older sister's eye rolling. It always had been fun to bug her, just a little.

Vitani couldn't say she enjoyed it either, but then again she had never particularly enjoyed being bugged by anyone. She gives him a little smirk around the bag she picked up. "I don't recall you being hard of hearing." Why yes, she's trying to turn it back on him.

"Only when it comes to listening to you," he teased.

Smack upside the head? If you insist there, Kovu. "I'm sure."

"Hey!" He growled a little at Vitani. "What was that for?"

And Vitani acts as if nothing happened at all. "What was what for?"

"Very funny." At least some things never changed...though Kovu wasn't sure if that would end up being a good thing or not.

"If you say so." Why yes, she is still acting like nothing out of the ordinary happened. Then again, that wasn't exactly out of the ordinary to begin with.

Kovu sighed. "I'll...see you later." He wasn't in the mood to deal with his sister acting like...well, his sister.
