Insert Witty Title Here [active/closed]
Character(s): Lightning, Hope, Vanille
Content: Three friends meet up and talk Paixao
Setting: Cafe Ersesat by Joutenheim
Time: Just after Vanille's arrival
Warnings: Uh... tba?
Somehow, over the weeks she'd been here, Lightning had given up hope of having anyone else she knew here. She'd grown used to life with Celes. Hope's double arrival had been welcome to her, and now they had someone else, a man named Terra. He'd been proving to be a decent guy and she had yet to regret letting him stay in their apartment. Her consolation was that he'd helped her fight Alexander with Hope. Not many people would have done that.
Now, though, it seemed Vanille had turned up, too. She hadn't been able to get a hold of Hope yet, but she didn't have time yet to worry. So, Lightning was on her way to find the redhead. It occurred to her that she didn't even know what point in time Vanille was from, but she'd deal with that later. The important thing was finding Vanille. Everything else could wait.

It looked like everything would be alright after all. Though she was a little banged up from the crash. But she had definitely had worse injuries before. Besides, Hope and Lightning were coming to find her. That thought alone put Vanille's worries at ease.
I wish Sazh could join us.
She had become rather fond of him. Oh well. Maybe he would show up eventually.

Hope stopped and scanned the crowds until he saw exactly what he'd wanted to: those telltale reddish pink pigtails, worn by a happy girl in pink. "There she is! Vanille!" He pointed and waved. He hadn't seen Vanille in weeks, maybe even months now, and it put a smile on his face to know that she would be around again.

Approaching Vanille slowly, Lightning gave a genuine smile. "Vanille. Good to see you." For her, it definitely had been months since she'd seen anyone but Hope. To have another friend turn up was definitely a bright spot in an otherwise painful place.

Clapping her hands together, the girl ran towards the pair. As soon as she reached them, she threw her arms around Hope, hugging him tightly. She then turned and almost did the same thing to Lightning.
"Er..." she blushed, "Hi."

"It's good to see you," he said.

She noticed the very-near hug. If it had become a real one instead of an almost one, Lightning might not have minded. She'd been through enough with these two that she considered them younger siblings, especially Hope. That meant hugs were fair game.
Serah would have been proud.
"Glad you made it in one piece. You haven't been here too long, have you?"
