Character(s): Aqua and Terra
Content: Two of the BBS trio meet up.
Setting: Apartments
Time: Yes. Backdated by... awhile.
Warnings: BBS spoilers is about it. XD
It was all a lot to take in. To think, somehow, ten years had passed. She knew she'd been lost in the Realm of Darkness for a long time, but for it to have been that long was astonishing. There was no doubt, however, that's how long it had been; Sora and Riku's ages proved it.
And then there was Terra. Aqua was still shocked that he was here, and as himself. Sora said he was probably from a different time. That seemed unbelievable, but she didn't know any other explanation for it. The last thing he remembered had happened a long time ago...
Xemnas... he was meant to be here, if she understood correctly from Sora. Facing him had already entered her mind, although she wasn't sure what she could do. Releasing Terra seemed impossible with Xehanort split apart.
But then, Terra was also here. If he learned of what was going to happen, could things change for the better? As much as Aqua wanted to believe they would, Xehanort would not give up easily. Even if Terra knew what was to come, could they stop it from happening?
She wasn't sure what to do. There was really only one thing Aqua was certain of at this moment: she wanted to see her friend.
And, luckily, he apparently was living in the very same building she'd been brought to by Celes. That was lucky.
Rising from where she'd been seated, Aqua realized, however, maybe they should have set a specific place to meet... Well, this building wasn't huge. They would most certainly bump into each other eventually.
Heading of the living room, she made her way to the door, intending to go out into the hallway.

And what would she have to say to him? She was from ten years in the future, and Terra was almost afraid to find out what the future had to hold for him.
Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately depending on how you looked at it, Terra wouldn't have much of a choice about when he would talk to Aqua, given that he nearly ran into her in the hallway.

"I'm so sorry, I wasn't--Terra!" she exclaimed, interrupting her own apology as she realized who she'd run into.

To be perfectly honest, Terra wasn't quite ready to face her yet, but it was unavoidable now. Besides, it was better to face her now than put it off. Not that Terra was the type to run away from his problems, though, he'd rather face them head on.

Her friends had always been precious to her and she'd missed them terribly, but somehow seeing Terra now made her truly realize just how much she had. It took her more than a moment, however, to recompose herself and find her voice again.
"...Terra... I--" she began, unsure of what to say now, before finally blurting out the first complete sentence that came to mind. "I wasn't expecting to find you this easily."

He still wasn't sure what to say to her. But he couldn't just stand there and say nothing, so he said the only thing that came to mind.
"I'm so sorry."

"For... for going astray..."

She'd had a long time to think on things, wandering along in the darkness. A long time spent trying to make some sense of what happened. They'd all fallen into Xehanort's trap.
"I wonder... how long, Master Xehanort had been planning all this. He fooled us all... even the Master."
no subject
There were no buts, not really. As much as he said that he should have seen what was going on, and that he should have been stronger than to let Xehanort to lead him astray.
"So what do we do now...?
no subject
"We should probably find out where exactly Ven is," she then added after a pause.
