Demyx hadn't been doing much of anything, really. This was intentional- avoiding the higher ups meant no missions that he shouldn't be on anyway! Seriously, couldn't they ever give him a mission he was good at? Like... going playing a concert somewhere. That would be awesome!

Fat chance of that happening, though, so Demyx was being his slacker self and avoiding work entirely.

He was doing this by exploring Paixao a bit more. It was kind of impressive, how huge it was... but then he spotted someone. Who looked... kind of, vaguely familiar? Maybe? Demyx didn't know why, sure, but still. Besides, the guy kind of stood out.

He debated for a moment, before deciding to walk over. "Hi!" he said cheerfully to Cid, "What're you doing?"

Not the most intelligent question ever, but Demyx wasn't one for smart questions.
