Homesick. {Third Person/Action/Open}

Character(s): Nala and Open!
Content: She is getting used to her new surroundings.
Setting: Anywhere, really. I'm not naming any place specific.
Time: Week 29, Morning.
Warnings: Well if you look something a lioness might hunt/eat...

She wasn't sure what to make of her new home. Since arriving, she had been wandering about, figuring out the lay of the land. As it turned out, it was nothing like the Pridelands. Or the Outlands for that matter. Still, she knew she had to adjust.

Taking a break from her relentless expedition, Nala sat down and curled her tail around her paws. Flicking her ears, she breathed in deeply, trying to pick out the different scents on the air. Some of them she couldn't even name. But, maybe, with time and practice, she would be comfortable here.

Sighing, the lioness's head drooped forward and she closed her eyes. Everything would be so much easier if Simba was by her side. Why had she been taken from him? He needed her. If he didn't go back to Pride Rock, everyone would -

She shuddered to think about it.

"Please make the right decision." she murmured to herself.

Osaka was just walking a walk along, minding her own business. It was a nice day - although granted it was pretty much always nice around here - and she thought she'd go out and enjoy it. (Somehow she kept forgetting that this wasn't really a safe thing to do.) She walked along, taking in the sights and occasionally stopping to collect something shiny from the faux plant life.

It was as she was doing this, plucking an amethyst butterfly from a gold-flecked bush, that she saw Nala lounging nearby. She froze, not so much scared as startled.

Finally, she said, ".... Big kitty."
