Now this was an interesting predicament, wasn’t it?

One minute she was fetching tea to share with Mrs. Harris and herself, to talk about going to school — Victoria had since been being homeschooled by her pseudo father and had previously been taught by her father before his passing, but apparently it was time to think about broadening her horizons by placing her in one of the actual schools in the area. She had gathered the teapot and two cups, the sugar and the milk, put it all neatly onto a tray and had made her way from the kitchen to the outside to meet her on the porch, but the porch had been replaced with grass and people standing in line near some gate of some sort.

“What on earth…”

Holding her tray, Victoria raised her brows, looking at the extended queue of people. What were they in line for, exactly? A movie perhaps! She leaned just slightly to her right to attempt peering around the people before her, but only found the entrance leading into what looked like a rather pretty city. Why were they lined up to go into a city? Perhaps they were immigrants. Stepping a wary foot closer, she watched over them as she approached. No one seemed to be bothered with her presence and while that was all and well — where had the Harris’ yard gone to, exactly?

“I must be dreaming.” She concluded, looking over the strange albeit fake trees near the walkway to the city. Victoria did have to admit that working with her pseudo parents did wear her out quite a bit and she had indeed been rather tired when she’d ventured into the kitchen to get the evening tea to share with her adoptive mother. “I fell asleep at the kettle and I’m dreaming.”

But then she wouldn’t be holding the tray filled with everything she’d put together, would she? Unless perhaps she was hoping to wake up in the kitchen again! Yes, that must have been it. Still, a little bit of a visit with the people here wouldn’t hurt if she was dreaming, there wasn’t anything to really fear insides of a dream as it wasn’t real. Stepping toward the line of people, she paused only for a moment to set her tea tray down and then, brushing off, she moved toward them again.

As she approached, someone in the line grabbed her arm and shoved her forward. With a mild yelp, she stumbled ahead of the others, tripping over her own two feet and very nearly falling into the booth near the entrance. Grabbing at the desktop to avoid falling over or completely into it, Victoria pushes herself up to stand properly again, brushing off her plaid skirt as she shoots a glare toward the people in the line. Who on earth wanted to be cut in front of anyway?! Of all the nerve…

Still, now that she was here she might as well ask about the city, it would be the best way to know where she was, right? Dreamworld aside.

“Ah, excuse me? Where does this entrance lead to if I might ask? The name of the city, that is, if you could just tell me…?”

And yet no answer. Whatever it is he’s doing behind that desk, it must be rather important to ignore a question for. Hesitating to repeat it, Victoria furrows her brow and sighs. “Um, sir? Excuse me? I…”

“Here y’are!” The man lifts something small and shoves it into her hands without bothering to explain what it is or what it is for. On the bright side at least he spoke to her. Perhaps they were getting somewhere after all.

“Oh, thank you, how very kind of you.” She was assuming that it was some sort of traditional gift of some sort or something, certain places did that kind of thing as welcome to their cities, right? Tucking the trinket away into her pocket, she sets her palms to the desk once more and leaning on them, smiles to the gentleman. “But I did wonder if you could still at least tell me where I am?”

She felt her arm grabbed and jerked as she was pulled away from the desk. Raising her brows as she stumbles from the jerk, she lets out another gentle yelp as she’s pushed past the gates into the city. Tripping up slightly, she manages to catch herself and turns on her heel to look at the person who shoved her past the gates, but can’t tell which person it was whom did it.

“Oh of all the confusing…! Where am I?!”

This was proving to be an awkward dream.

Yzma was wondering the streets again, pondering over certain things, such as what would fit her fancy to some of the clothes here. Not only that, but since Yzma has been experimenting on the heartless and lumens, she wanted to learn more about certain essences. Though, she could never quite figure all of them out yet. However, it was no sooner her attention drew to the young lady that came through the gate, another new one, hm? Interesting, but really Yzma could care less, unless the girl proves something of worth.

Approaching the new girl in Paixao, Yzma tilted her skeleton like hips in sway, places a hand on a side as she spoke to her, “New here, my dear?”

“This place is called ‘Paixao’,” Yzma informed the young lady as she conversed with her. She adjusted her sash, trying to make herself look presentable. Yzma spoke to her, “It’s a place that keeps many of us here from returning to our own world. I, came from a world outside from this one and believe me, I miss being an Empress there more than anything.”

It was true that Yzma rather liked her environment back in her own world better, especially for the fact that she was in power. While as here, she’s had to go back into living among the common folk, experimenting in solitude. At least she had Guy to help out though. “And where are you from, my dear?” Yzma spoke, trying to look somewhat sympathetic to the other.
