Creepin' it up like old times [Active/Open]
Character(s): Hades and whoever he finds/gets found by
Content: Hades has some folk to check in on, whether he knows it or not.
Setting: All throughout Paixao; wherever characters want to be.
Time: Backdated week 28, all day.
Warnings: .....Hades.
Due to the possible multiple characters, this thread will be done "party-style".
It was about time the Lord of the Dead got around to more business than simply pressuring his darling Nutmeg. Places he had to be, people to see, terrorize, the usual package that followed behind Hades. Much like the first time he arrived in Paixao, Hades kept on the down-low, sticking amongst the shady corners of Paixao, moving by shadow.
Oh, certainly the god's quiet would not last long - it never did with Hades - but for now, there was business to attend to...
...who would find themselves a part of it?

Behind his sunglasses, Auron's eyes narrowed and he stopped where he was, looking around for the unseen watcher.

"Auron, buddy." He unfolds his arms and gestures in a way that friends would to one another. Sure, they weren't actually friends, and Hades wanted to ring the guy's neck for messing with his plans (more than once)...
"I think we got off on the wrong foot, don't you. How about we start over, eh?"
no subject
He still didn't know why Hades thought Auron knew him. There were many worlds, however, and it appeared that in some cases there could be other versions of people. Likely it was this one Hades had met. Why Hades couldn't accept the fact that Auron was not the man he was looking for, Auron wasn't sure he would ever know. "There is nothing to discuss," he replied curtly, only continuing to face Hades due to his mistrust. It would be foolish to turn one's back on anyone like the god before him.

Nothing else mattered.
Hades certainly could hold a grudge for eternity.
"Auron, Auron. No need to have a face like that. Come, let me buy you a drink. Let's iron these thing out, eh?"
apologies for shortness

He was still curious at the group of beings that had been pulled through the gateway, but one in particular stood out among them. Big, dark cloaked, flaming... A ruler of an underworld. Duma flew to land on a ledge where he could try and see if this was one he recognised. The key to Hell seemed to warm against his skin - It was as though it recognised it's own. But who? Eventually he worked the possibilities down to Hades or Pluto. Oh wonderful, thought Duma. Two cultures with similar mythologies, and if I guess the wrong one, he'll be intensely offended. Duma knew gods to be prickly like that.
Still, Lucifer may have visited him, like he did Yemma. It was worth risking pain to find out if a very old friend was nearby... Or find out what happened after Duma had left.
Duma swooped down to land a little way away from the god. After plucking up a little courage he stepped forward and gave a courteous bow.

Hades wasn't one to tread softly. But here? He's curious. He'll let it play out, and maybe in the end he'll find himself a new pawn. So, congratulations, Duma. You've got yourself Hades' "polite side" - which may not actually be a good thing at all.
He extends a hand in his own form of greeting and a brief
grinsmile. "Hello, stranger."City Hall
"And who might you be to grace City Hall with your presence, hm?" It could only be assumed that this...well, it certainly didn't smell human, whatever it was. Nor did it smell like Maleficent. The only scent he could really pick out as identifiable was that of fire, which one would certainly hope for considering the fact this creature seemed to wear a ring of blue flame as a crown. Though what such a crown could possibly display rule of Scar had no idea.
Re: City Hall
That put her on immediate alert, watching this blue creatures every move. The crown of fire.. made her wary. His scent didn't help either. Fire.. and death? Her guard rose even further as her body tensed. Didn't Scar notice that? No matter, if she had to she would rush to defend her beloved mate if he needed it. But, for the moment she just remained on her guard and silent, letting him handle the talking.
*LIIIIIIIIIVES*
Which would be unsurprising.
But lions? What, were they Paixao's new craze now?
"Me?" He quirks a brow. "I think I should be asking you that."

Zira's tensing made Scar quite aware of another scent on this male--the cloying stench of death and rot surrounded him. The lion wrinkled his nose in disgust. The fire alone had been bad enough.

Hades had to hand it to the lion pair... they had a sense of... potential about them...

"I followed him here, and was introduced to Maleficent." He brought the paw in to his chest. "I'm Scar, and this is my mate, Zira. She hasn't been here before, but I figured your little group might like to meet her."

Hercules found himself in a rather shady looking part of the city, certain that he had taken a wrong turn somewhere. Hopefully he'd be able to find his way to a more familiar part of town without incident?

Kid.
As in.... this may have been Hades' best day in Paixao ever.
"Hey, kid. You look like you're lost. Need some help? I'm the guy to get you outta these sorts of messes." Because that's Hades. Poor-soul-helping-extraordinaire. Most definitely

Strolling along, Yzma tapped her pen against her dark red stained lips. Lifting an eyebrow, “They come from the ground… But not from the ground, it’s as if they are made of shadows. How is that possible?!” Yzma growled under her breathe, really this was frustrating her, and she wants to know what these things are.
Lost in thought, Yzma let herself sit down on one of the benches as she chewed a bit at the end of her pen in irritation. Are they animals or something much more? Either way, she wanted their essence, but it seemed almost impossible to reproduce! Unless there was a missing ingredient she needed, but what could that be?

So after some silent, hidden observing, Hades sidles behind the bench Yzma occupied, resting his arms along the backing and leaning his head back to grin.
"Hearts," is all he says.

“Wh-Who are you I-” Yzma spoke, then she started to relax her shoulders, realizing that he did answer a question she posed to herself. “Did… You say hearts?” she asked lifting an eyebrow in curiosity.

“You certainly took your time, leaving me with the two wenches…” The captain continued with a sneer, reminded of the horrid predicament he had found himself in before recruiting Scar. Over the course of Hades absents, Hook had developed a suspicion that the two women he found himself forced to reside with ‘secretly’ desired to do him in. A new addition to their numbers, Scar, would make for a suitable distraction until he devised a permanent solution. However, this newly recruit of sorts had proven far from favourable, perhaps even worse than Ursula regarding his behaviour. “One can only hope such time was spent doing something of use while others were forced to suffer.”
Suddenly Hook turned to face Hades. “You are not to leave me with the likes of those two women again!”
