Exploring happens, things die. [Active/Open]

Characters: Zira, OPEN
Content: ... Zira is hunting. Have fun.
Setting: Somewhere in town
Time: Week 28 -evening
Warnings: It's Zira. so.... violent and a bloody with a side order of sarcasm and anger management issues.

Zira moved from shadow to shadow as the vicious lioness stalked her prey. The prey? Some nameless woman that crossed her path. She crouched down, her body tenses as she readied to pounce. Seconds later she sprang on the unsuspecting woman with a flash of claws and fangs.

A scream rang out only to be cut off by a sickening squelch and a bone shattering crunch. As soon as she was sure her prey was dead, she dragged the body into a secluded shadowy area and began to tear into the corpse, not caring that her muzzle and claws were covered in blood.

There was nothing quite like an evening stroll... well uneventful evening stroll at least. It's been so quiet and calm in Paixao that Priere nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard the scream. She never thought she'd ever heard something like that here.

"What was that scream?" she herself screamed as she ran towards where she thought she heard the woman. She was probably too late, not only was there no one there, but the smell of blood was already in the air. "Oh great..." she mumbled to herself, on high alert.

What the...? While Priere suddenly recalled that she had indeed talked to someone who claimed to be lion, she really hadn't expected this. She quickly regained her composure though... the sight before making it quite clear that she wasn't very friendly.

"Your... hunt?" she answered, clearly not impressed. "You're hunting?"

"Oh great," Priere muttered as she took a few steps back, right before reaching back, grabbing her baton. There wasn't a sign of fear in her eyes, in fact she was more annoyed than anything.

"You think I'm just going to sit there and let some overgrown cat eat me? HA!" After all, it was just one lion. She had defeated so many demons, monsters, and even Demon Lords and worse... one lion? HA, what a joke.

... well okay, so she wasn't alone when she defeated all of those, but she was pretty sure she could take down an animal rather easily... right?

So they were going to play that game of "who hits first", huh? Priere pondered waiting for the lioness, but it quickly fell out of favor. She wasn't really patient, and anyway, just by the way she was standing Priere had a pretty good idea just what kind of attack she was going to perform.

"Repent!" she screamed out, swinging her baton, a small fire explosion bursting out of her weapon right in front of her, but too far away for it to hit anything. That should get her to move at least.

Fighting was second nature for Priere, and she had seen a lot more impressive and dangerous things than a lion. That said, it's been a while since something charged at her so fast. Oh well, the important thing was to stay clear of the fangs. Claws she could handle, fangs on her throat... well she started to regret having neglected to learn Omega Heal.

At least that got her moving. Bracing herself for the hit by covering her vitals, she swept her foot to the side, raising it into a kick, hopefully managing to intercept the raging lioness.

Oops... guess the lack of challenges lately got Priere rusty. She was going to need a lot of healing once this was all over, but for the moment, she pushed it aside, the adrenaline, and her own temper helping a lot at the moment. If the lioness thought it was going to be over, she was going to be disappointed.

As strange as it sounded, having the lion aiming for her head was exactly where she wanted it... though she could have gone about it in a much better way. She moved her left arm right in front of her neck and face, barring access, and raised her right one to deliver an uppercut aimed right in the cat's jaw. At close range like this, it should connect, hopefully.

While this was better than having a lioness in her personal space, Priere didn't really enjoy being tagged as a prey by wild life. She turned slowly, not leaving the lioness out of her sight.

"Why the hell did you do that!" she indignantly spat out, making a quick nod in the dead woman's direction.

In a way, Priere could understand. Animals were animals, that's how they feed themselves, by killing other animals and eating them. And yeah, she was pretty sure that steak she ate the other day came from something that was alive... but still...

"YES!" Priere answered angrily. "You can pretty much get any food you want here, and for almost nothing! You have no right to kill people!" If they were starving and there was really nothing else around... maybe, MAYBE, she could have understood the whole thing, but at this point? It was no excuse in her mind.

She was too predictable though. As soon as she saw her crouching, Priere simply jumped out of the way of the charge. Since it was getting a bit too dangerous to fight close range at this point, might as well switch tactics. Still keeping her eyes on the lioness, she pointed her finger at her, almost in defiance, while the wind suddenly started to pick up behind her.

Oh, the wind was nothing to worry about. No what she had to worry about where the four batons that seemingly popped out of thin air in the wind behind her, spinning so fast that it was hard to actually see what they were.

"Oh yeah? Well not around here! REPENT!" she cried out as they went hurling towards the lion.

That seemed to do it. Not taking a moment to rest, she lunged forwards at the distracted lion, her fist pulled back. This time, she wasn't going to get caught like earlier and anyway, that lion had pissed her off to a point she just couldn't back off. "This is now a no hunting zone!" she said, not really caring she had no authority over the matter, as she punched forwards.

Priere jerked back at the claw. Though she did get swiped, she did managed to evade the worst part of it. Well one more injury to the fight, she'll deal with them later...

Or maybe a lot sooner than she thought, that lion was running away. "Wimp!" she couldn't help herself scream out, intent on chasing her down. That lioness killed someone, she couldn't just be left alone in a city full of people.

Yet, she barely made two steps forwards before she stopped. She... she couldn't just leave that women there, especially since she was dead. She disliked the natives of Paixao, no thanks to how they treated them, but still, no one should just be left in an alley, half eaten.

"Urgh, fine, fine..." she mumbled as she ignored the chase, taking out her communicator instead. She could deal with an animal later, this however, needed to be fixed now. The quicker the better too... she had that nagging feeling she needed a shower... and a long rest.
