Exploring happens, things die. [Active/Open]
Characters: Zira, OPEN
Content: ... Zira is hunting. Have fun.
Setting: Somewhere in town
Time: Week 28 -evening
Warnings: It's Zira. so.... violent and a bloody with a side order of sarcasm and anger management issues.
Zira moved from shadow to shadow as the vicious lioness stalked her prey. The prey? Some nameless woman that crossed her path. She crouched down, her body tenses as she readied to pounce. Seconds later she sprang on the unsuspecting woman with a flash of claws and fangs.
A scream rang out only to be cut off by a sickening squelch and a bone shattering crunch. As soon as she was sure her prey was dead, she dragged the body into a secluded shadowy area and began to tear into the corpse, not caring that her muzzle and claws were covered in blood.

"What was that scream?" she herself screamed as she ran towards where she thought she heard the woman. She was probably too late, not only was there no one there, but the smell of blood was already in the air. "Oh great..." she mumbled to herself, on high alert.

"Who dares disturb my hunt."
no subject
"Your... hunt?" she answered, clearly not impressed. "You're hunting?"

A wicked grin graced the lioness's bloody muzzle as she became still. Intense red-brown eyes focused on the girl, daring her to run, to scream for the huntress's pleasure. There was nothing like live prey to make the evening more eventful.
Even it was just for entertainment purposes. The woman she just took down was more than enough to feed herself for now.

"You think I'm just going to sit there and let some overgrown cat eat me? HA!" After all, it was just one lion. She had defeated so many demons, monsters, and even Demon Lords and worse... one lion? HA, what a joke.
... well okay, so she wasn't alone when she defeated all of those, but she was pretty sure she could take down an animal rather easily... right?

No matter. She would show this pathetic creature exactly why she should be feared. Her body fell still as claws kneaded the ground. Zira was ready to pounce the moment the girl made a move.

"Repent!" she screamed out, swinging her baton, a small fire explosion bursting out of her weapon right in front of her, but too far away for it to hit anything. That should get her to move at least.

At least that got her moving. Bracing herself for the hit by covering her vitals, she swept her foot to the side, raising it into a kick, hopefully managing to intercept the raging lioness.

One good bite and a twist! That was all she needed! Zira wanted to hear crunching bones! This creature would pay for disturbing her meal even it it was the last thing she did. Whether or not the girl survived was not her concern. Though perhaps leaving her alive as a warning to others would be a wise decision.
Yes... Zira backed off the ferocity of her attack, now only intending on mauling the girl.

As strange as it sounded, having the lion aiming for her head was exactly where she wanted it... though she could have gone about it in a much better way. She moved her left arm right in front of her neck and face, barring access, and raised her right one to deliver an uppercut aimed right in the cat's jaw. At close range like this, it should connect, hopefully.

The agitated lioness began to circle the girl, her tail twitching with every movement as she seized her up again, planning her next coarse of attack.
no subject
"Why the hell did you do that!" she indignantly spat out, making a quick nod in the dead woman's direction.
no subject
And for sport. It had been so long since there was such an abundance of prey around her that Zira couldn't help herself! They were just so tempting and besides, it was her job to pick off the weak and cull the herd otherwise they would get to large.
Zira continued to circle the girl, noting how she kept her eyes on the lioness. It wasn't long before she paused and tensed before charging in again, this time keeping low to avoid being hit again.

"YES!" Priere answered angrily. "You can pretty much get any food you want here, and for almost nothing! You have no right to kill people!" If they were starving and there was really nothing else around... maybe, MAYBE, she could have understood the whole thing, but at this point? It was no excuse in her mind.
She was too predictable though. As soon as she saw her crouching, Priere simply jumped out of the way of the charge. Since it was getting a bit too dangerous to fight close range at this point, might as well switch tactics. Still keeping her eyes on the lioness, she pointed her finger at her, almost in defiance, while the wind suddenly started to pick up behind her.

She went in snapping her jaws only to get empty air and go skidding. Zira quickly recovered only to realize that there was something wrong. Why was the pathetic creature pointing at her and why was there a wind kicking up?
Something was not right about this and very out of the ordinary. Her ears flattened themselves against her skull as her tail twitched with annoyance. Moments later she was clawing at the wind, testing it before turning her gaze back at the creature.
What the hell was she doing!?
no subject
"Oh yeah? Well not around here! REPENT!" she cried out as they went hurling towards the lion.
no subject
Suddenly, the objects went hurling at her. Zira managed to move the first one or two only to have the remaining ones catch her in the side as she turned, drawing a fierce roar from her as she lashed out at the ones that hit her.

Her immediate reaction was to roar and twist to claw at whatever hit her before trying to get away. Whatever this creature was, she was worse than a stampeding herd of wildebeests! Zira felt it might be time to beat a tactical retreat. As much as she hated doing so, perhaps this was the best time.
After all, she would be no use to her beloved Scar if she were dead.

Or maybe a lot sooner than she thought, that lion was running away. "Wimp!" she couldn't help herself scream out, intent on chasing her down. That lioness killed someone, she couldn't just be left alone in a city full of people.
Yet, she barely made two steps forwards before she stopped. She... she couldn't just leave that women there, especially since she was dead. She disliked the natives of Paixao, no thanks to how they treated them, but still, no one should just be left in an alley, half eaten.
"Urgh, fine, fine..." she mumbled as she ignored the chase, taking out her communicator instead. She could deal with an animal later, this however, needed to be fixed now. The quicker the better too... she had that nagging feeling she needed a shower... and a long rest.
