Dear Friends.
Character(s): The Onion Knight, Terra Branford, anyone else?
Content: The Onion Knight finds himself in Paixao
Setting: Niflheim
Time: Mid day
Warnings: Teeth rotting adorableness
The Onion Knight faded from the grassy fields of Cornelia, trying to not be sad that he would never see these people again. It was a bittersweet moment, to say the least, but he couldn’t let himself dwell on it, especially not on the fact that he would never see Terra again. He had his own life to go back to, friends and family and loved ones back on the floating continent, people he missed there. One girl wasn’t enough to make him want to give up his life in Ur, and he still had a long life ahead of him. Besides, she was so much older than him, it would never work out.
His eyes fluttered open when he felt himself back on solid ground, expecting to see his hometown, some place on his home planet at least. But much to the Onion Knight’s surprise, he found himself in front of a domed city, one that he had never seen before.
He approached the domed structure, wondering why he had ended up here and not back home. Had Cosmos done something? Summoned him here for whatever reason? The Onion Knight frowned at that thought. Not only was the goddess supposed to be dead. (Which didn’t really sit well with the Knight, how can a god die anyway?) But the war was supposed to finally be over. There were too many questions running through his head.
But if Cosmos was behind this somehow, he couldn’t refuse to help her, could he? Cosmos was a kind and just goddess, yes, but he still couldn’t imagine the repercussions that would cause.

Unfortunately, she hadn't gotten off at the right stop. She sighed, examining the computerized device. "Have I taken a wrong turn?" she asked herself aloud, frowning. Somehow, she'd wound up near the gate. "It should be just around here..." she scanned the area -- and that was when her eyes landed on a feathery helmet in the distance.
"I-It can't be...!" she cried, standing there, dumbfounded. Was this an illusion? Another game put on by the dreaded Organization?
no subject
That's when the Knight's noticed a familiar woman standing in the crowds. He couldn't believe his eyes.
"Terra? Terra!" The Onion Knight called as he ran toward his friend. Terra needn't worry about the boy being an illusion, no he was very much real.
bah crappy tag sorry, but just to get their evident convo rolling...
no subject
"Yeah, I just got here. Didn't you too?" At least, the Knight assumed she would have been sent here at the same time.
no subject
Her smile faded a little at that next bit. "No," she said softly, "I've been here for a few weeks now. And... not for the first time, either."

no subject
"For me, Chaos' defeat... was a little while ago, now."
no subject
And in the long run, it really didn't matter. Terra was here, and she seemed to be safe, and the Knight was thankful for that.
"So what is this place?"
no subject
"Paixao," she said matter of factly. "Much like... when we were summoned by Cosmos, warriors from different worlds are brought together here. It's built in floors, each floor -- a different world." She frowned, and closed her eyes for a moment. "A group of people brought us here. The Organization."
no subject
Like in a building? Yet another thing that made no sense to him, and the Knight found it hard to justify this one with magic.
"And who's the Organization? What do they want?"
no subject
"And we don't really -- know what they want. They don't show their faces often, and hide in the darkness." A pause. "Sometimes... they try to kidnap us," she clutched her chest a little harder then she realized.
no subject
"They... didn't hurt you, did they, Terra?"
no subject
"...No," Terra finally replied. "I'm fine." And a nod. She was, now. Now that she knew that people could believe in her, and that she could also believe in -- everything seemed a little less frightening.
no subject
But still, there was something about this place that the Knight didn't like.
"I'll always protect you, Terra."
no subject
"So far -- there's no exit. At least, not one that anyone has discovered yet."
