Unexpected [Closed, Active]
Character(s): Lithuania and NiGHTS
Content: Lithuania goes exploring, and meets someone he wasn't expecting. At all.
Setting: Somewhere around Actua Are.
Time: Midday, week 28
Warnings: ... Sparkles? Bafflement? Baffling sparkles?
NiGHTS had, surprisingly enough, gotten into little to no trouble ever since his return to the city. Maybe it was the fact that everything was so boring here, now that he'd explored everything on his own and (for the moment) was bored of tormenting Hook, though he'd get back to that again once he felt like it. Maybe it was the waiting game, looking to catch people he knew in bits of conversation and, strangely for him, making sure they were alright. At any rate, the Nightmaren was hovering around the Actua Are hotel, playing the invisible flute he always had nearby and idly composing vague hints of melodies before carelessly scattering the notes to the wind, lost.
He wished something would happen, besides the silly fog that seemed to have overtaken the city (and from the looks of it, driving some unfortunate people mad), and thought that maybe the break he'd been giving Hook had lasted a little too long when he saw someone who... felt weird. He couldn't really describe it, even if asked, but it made him curious - and suddenly, NiGHTs wasn't so terribly bored any more. He lowered himself, floating a little above and behind the person, and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hello!" he called out cheerfully. "And who might you be?"

He took a step back automatically, and once he had gained a bit more personal space the startled confusion that had flashed across his face settled down somewhat.
"I--ah, Toris Laurinaitis," he answered, half-automatically. "A-and you?"

"I'm NiGHTS!" came the response, the nightmaren keeping his thoughts on the matter to himself for moment. "Nice to meet you!"

He wasn't sure which would be better or worse for his sanity. Paixao was a lot to adjust to, and a lot to adjust to quickly.

augh, sorry; been so busy ;;
But he'd seen so much strange in so little time here.
"No telling if that will happen tomorrow or a thousand years from now."
He could wait forever, if nothing happened to his people in the meantime. He would wait forever, if he had to.
No worries; so have I! <3
"Or," he continued, "you could always climb the castle steps. There have been a few new worlds discovered. There must be a way out of there, somewhere."
