He hadn’t meant to upset Wolf. It had been the last thing on his agenda. However, he should have known mention of the Heartless alone, never mind the fact that he was prying on something Wolf most decidedly was uncomfortable with, would lead to some form distress. He waited patiently for Wolf to reply, allowing his own eyes to stray from the man and to the ground while silence fell over the pair.

“Heartless have a habit of appearing whenever Scar is around.” Timon said once Wolf had finished. “This ain’t the first time something like this has happened. I bet he’s behind all this somehow. I don’t really know how... But there’s gotta be something. I’ve only seen him around the Heartless once but he looked pretty calm.” It could have just been coincidence but he Timon was too stubborn to admit such a thing. Scar was guilty in his books, regardless if he had evidence to prove it or not. “I wonder if they’re attracted to him for some reason… And if he smells like that Darkness stuff at all.” The meerkat wondered if he did as well but had Wolf recognized the scent, or what he thought was the scent, surely he would have said something by now.

“Last they appeared with him around was when he was with Alice. She doesn’t seem like the type to summon ‘em – though she does like to look for the trouble.” The meerkat sighed. “Kids. Oi!”
