Eyes staring straight into Timon’s, the conversation definitely seemed to have drifted into a more serious matter, the heartless. Wolf paused to look down for a minute away from the meerkat, trying to collect his own thoughts about the subject. It was a good thing that he now was able to keep his emotions at bay from clouding his thoughts. Wolf really needed his mind to think clearly right now too.

Within his deep concentration, Wolf spoke to Timon, “I wasn’t able to pick up distinct scent at the time… The heartless were nothing I could ever detect before, it was almost as if nothing was there but… it was almost like ashes.” Wolf started to remember the time the heartless disguised itself as Virginia too, and how it didn’t smell anything like her, but that of almost nothing. His eyes frustrated into the ground, almost in pain of remembering these things, but he couldn’t help that these memories were almost too frightening for words.

“All I could smell was Zidane in pain and… I was so distracted, by the time I smelt Scar’s presence, he already was there behind me to tell me that he saw the whole thing and-” Wolf winced as he closed his eyes, no no, concentrate! This is no time to get emotional, he already did enough of that, and he doesn’t need anyone else to worry about him. Wolf opened his eyes again trying to remember, “I’m pretty sure Scar’s scent was much different, but I was rather distracted at the time, so it might be too early to tell.”
