Happy to See You Again [Active, Open]
Character(s): Megara, open
Content: Megara returns to Paixao
Setting: Joutenheim
Time: Week 27, mid-afternoon.
Warnings: Sarcasm?
Had she been sleeping? Had Hades returned after all and done something to her? Megara couldn't explain why she couldn't remember where she had been or how much time had passed. She remembered everything else -- her stay within the domed city and the life she had before. She remembered the people she had met and the information she gathered from being in this strange place. But a hole was in her memory. Try as she might, she couldn't fill it.
Inside the city once more, she glanced over her shoulder at the gate behind her. It was a different one this time. She'd merely cut ahead in line, taken a new journal without a word or a glance to the native in charge of such things and moved inside...but now what? Was she to just pick up things like nothing had changed? She sighed and moved towards a nearby stone bench, sitting. She opened up the journal like an old pro and tried to figure out just what she missed.
It wasn't long before an old friend (if you could call him that) filled her in on some basics. But it wasn't enough. Clearly more had occurred in the two weeks she'd been...elsewhere. She'd have to find more people to talk to.

The wizard had been trying to investigate these 'heartless' things that had attacked Wolf and a friend of his not too long ago. So far, he had scoured most of the city and had come up empty-handed. He had been meaning to stop at the library to do some research there, but he figured he might as well get to know the layout of the city without having to consult the map on his journal first.
In any case, Remus approached the young woman, putting his journal back in the pocket inside his Hogwarts robe. "Are you alright?"

Thankfully, he was able to pull himself together. "I suppose you aren't, then?" Remus gestured towards the gate. "I saw you come through the gate and grab a journal from one of the natives here. I just assumed you were new here as well." Not that Remus really considered himself to be new. He had been stuck in this place for a few weeks and knew how things worked for the most part. Of course, he was still getting used to the place, but it was a rather large place.
He extended his hand. "I'm Remus."

Trailing off, she shrugged, her lips quirked up a bit in a wry smirk. "Name's Megara. Some people call me Meg. I've been called worse. And no, I'm not new. I thought I was free from this place, though." Meg scoffed, placing one hand on her hip. "Guess I'm just lucky."

His eyes grew wide when Meg explained her situation. "Hold on. You found a way out of here?" If she had, she knew much more than Remus and probably anyone else in this city. It didn't explain how she had ended up returning, but that wasn't on Remus' mind at the moment.

Her brow furrowed and she shook her head. "Nothing good ever lasts."

"It would seem that way." Remus plopped down next to Meg and looked up at the dome and frowned. He much preferred the ceiling in the Great Hall back at Hogwarts.
He looked back at the young woman sitting next to him. "You wouldn't happen to anything else about this place, would you? I heard that there are doors to other 'worlds,' but I haven't found them yet."
no subject
She lightly bumped his shoulder with her own, smirking. "They'll probably figure it out eventually." Of course, she didn't really believe that, but she wasn't going to be any more of a downer than she already was.
