Her reverie was broken by the whistle of the kettle, however, so she set about making the tea.
"Yorda...I've been too strict with you." She set the kettle and cups on the tray, glancing sidelong at the girl. "You don't have to keep yourself hidden in this house. I just...." She sighed, lifting the tray. "Be careful who you become friends with. There are dangerous people out there."
