So, there really are other worlds here. (Active/Open)

Character(s): Donna Noble and whoever shows up.
Content: With the Doctor distracted by the going's on, Donna decides to do a bit of exploring. And then she finds Destiny Islands.
Setting: Destiny Islands
Time: Week 26.
Warnings: None at this moment.

So, Donna had decided to explore around the Church a bit. Sure, he had parked the TARDIS behind the building, but that didn't mean she couldn't go look in the building, right? Who knew how long the Doctor was going to be, at this point. Wandering in, she looked around at the inside. Typical Church. Sticking her hands in her pockets, she walked around, looking at the statues and glass, before walking towards the back of the Church. It was probably going to be boring, but she was trying to get rid of her boredom anyway.

Wait a minute. She said, as she walked into one of the back rooms. Why is there a door right there? It didn't look like it fit into the decor. Maybe it's a prop for some show...but why would a church have it? She walked up to it, and grabbed the doorknob, thinking nothing would happen, and was surprised when the door opened to reveal a hallway.

"Ok...What's the catch?" She walked into the hallway, hearing the door close behind her, but not minding for some reason. She walked the hallway and found herself then standing on a set of islands, hearing the water hitting the beach and the seagulls shouting in the air.

"Oi, Spaceman... Why didn't you tell me there was a beach here?" She said to no one, walking towards where she heard the water, and seeing a dock in the distance, went that way. At least things were starting to look up, even though she was stuck in this place again.

The apartment was getting crowded. Three demons, two Nobodies, a human, a lion, a warthog and a meerkat simply did not mix well in such a small space. And though Timon was more than stubborn enough to refuse surrender of the bed he had claimed for himself, he had begun to get the feeling that it was time to move on. Between the Vyers’ horrid breakfast platters and dreadful singing in the shower, there were still the ongoing antics of the others. He had grown to call the apartment home but it never could be home. He wanted somewhere out in the ‘outdoors’ as Vyers had referred to it. At least, as close to the outdoors as he could get in a castle. This is what had brought the island to his attention. The grass, sand, the great, big, bright thing in the other big blue thing, and all the bugs he could eat. Not to mention the cover the place held from the Organization. Everyone lived in the city, they stuck to one floor. But that didn’t mean they had to.

With these things in mind, Timon took forth in a journey he quickly come to regret, ready to head back the moment he had been forced to travel by foot outside the cities gates. But after far more walking than he had ever planned to have done, he finally reached the same door he remembered Vyers had brought him too, the door to Destiny Islands. And if he had made it this far on his own, he could not turn back now. Not unless something spooked him, anyway.

Timon had not been on the island terribly long before Donna’s arrival. He had begun by simply wandering along the guided path before he had caught sight of a beetle crawling across the ground. Without a second thought, he immediately followed it into a bush where he was rewarded an entire nest for his efforts. The meerkat had just finished feasting on the succulent little entrées and had begun to prepare himself for the main course, an entire colony of ants he had discovered down by the water before he heard a voice. A woman’s voice.

“Oi, who’s there?” he called out, taking hold of the nearest object in hopes of using it to defend himself. It turned out to be a stick, no larger than Timon himself, and ultimately a pretty lousy weapon. None the less, he held onto it tightly, daring to only peeking out from behind the rock he used to take cover. The voice was not one he recognized but they did not seem to carry a particularly threatening scent. They were definitely not a Nobody, or Heartless, or any other monster that had been known to muck about the city – er, island. Castle. Whatever.

Timon did not look very convinced by Donna’s words. If anything, he may have appeared even more startled by her discovery. He mentally kicked himself for peeking out prematurely. Had he of simply waited a little longer he could have gone completely unnoticed. And though she did not seem very menacing, he couldn’t be sure. The last time he had travelled alone he had the pleasure of meeting Scar, the lion giving the meerkat a run for his life when he threatened to swallow him whole. Not that he expected Donna to try and at him or anything. No. That would be equally as gross to her as it was to him.

His eyes followed hers to the stick in his grasp, and after a moment of quick thought, he gave a nervous chuckle. “You mean this? This is just my, ah, walking stick.” Having decided to hold it less like a weapon and more like a cane, he placed it on the ground and leaned against it as though to prove his words. “See? Just like I told you! I mean, you, scary? Pff, please. Alone you’re not.” Timon paused at that notion, suddenly looking apprehensive again while he around the area. “You… Are alone, aren’t you?”

He gave a sigh of relief at her reply that there had only been her. Well, that was good. Anymore than that and there was a likelihood of trouble stirring up. He idly wondered who this ‘partner’ of hers was, whether or not he was on the island and, if so, when he’d be returning. That was until she had mentioned something shiny. His attention was immediately averted from their conversation in search of this for mentioned shiny thing. It appeared the Doctor was not the only one easily distracted. Although, Timon would have easily argued ‘great minds thought alike’ with no knowledge of this associate of hers being none other than the Doctor. Personally, he had grown to think of both Ten and Eleven as a bit of a pair of loons.

Upon hearing her question, Timon turned back to look up at Donna in confusion. “Hu?” Did he want to join her? “Oh, uh… Yeah, sure! Why not.” He replied with a shrug. “I was just scoping the place out myself. Everyone else is occupied with all those other floors now. Or, uh, worlds. Whatever you wanna call ‘em. I figured it would be quieter here. The perfect time to see things for myself, maybe grab the odd snack.” The meerkat rubbed his stomach and licked his lips at the thought. “Your first time here too?”
