I Live Among The Creatures Of The Night [ACTIVE/CLOSED]
Character(s): Larxene and Zetta
Content: Larxene and Zetta meet up for some possible quality ploy time.
Setting: Near the Cheap Prayer.
Time: Night.
Warnings: None.
It was quite a surprise that she managed to get into contact with that Zetta demon again after the initial rejection back in the journals. She figured he was one of those "I can do it myself" powerful, egotistic, hot-headed personalities that were rather annoying, and he probably still was. It's why she found it interesting that he was willing to meet up with her now, and that she was waiting for him to come, hooded and cloaked by the darkness of the night. She had been in silence for a long while, too much, she believed. And it was playtime again. With a small-time partner or tool for her to use by her side, an idea might crop up to finally go through that promised visit to Laharl. Nonetheless, she had to keep her guard up if things didn't turn out as expected. Supposedly, demons actually had morals, and she was the evilest of all that ever eviled.
She smirked amusingly to herself.
What a nice title~.

So when Larxene contacted again, asking to meet, Zetta was willing to give it a shot. She was one of the few people in this place that he didn't seriously dislike, so maybe he'd actually have a conversation that didn't end in him wanting to beat something up this time. Hopefully.
Zetta stood near the bar she'd designated as a meeting place, his arms crossed as he looked around for the woman. He couldn't really remember exactly what she looked like, but hopefully she wouldn't be too hard to spot. It wasn't like he was.

Regardless, whether he had some ploy in mind or not, it wasn't anything she couldn't handle.
Stepping from the wall, since they weren't really that far from each other, she walked towards him, wondering if the way he looked will garner some attention. He stuck out like a sore thumb. Actually, he almost reminded her of Axel, with the wild red hair, and those marks close to his eyes. They had some weird similarities.
Then again, Laharl did have her forelocks, for some reason.
She frowned displeasingly at the thought. She had to make a mental note on finally cutting them off when she saw him.
Putting that behind her for when she was bored, however, she stood in front of the demon now, crossing her arms in a beguiling manner and smirking as the hood screened her visage. She had to make sure she didn't say anything that may steer this away from what she wanted. Though she always had a sharp tongue that people just didn't appreciate. "So, we meet. I would think you wouldn't show up after last time, being that I'm such a bad girl to your blue little rag doll~."

But, considering Laharl's reaction on the journals, maybe it was best that he ask this woman exactly what she did. Not that he really cared, but he was curious. Especially if she could get that kind of reaction out of him when he couldn't even come close. "But..." he asked, "I guess I'll bite. What did you do to him, anyway?"

She would just take his words with a grain of salt.
The question he asked was one that perked her interest, however. She grinned fiendishly, sauntering closer to the demon in a somewhat coaxing movement and stopping just short of crossing personal space. "You really want to know?~"
With a slight giggle, she didn't bother letting him answer that. "I experimented on him. Twice, but it was my job, so to speak. After that, we met again at a festival and I injured his blonde bimbo. We sort of experimented on her too. Obviously, it wasn't so bad if they're alright...for now. I went after his father later, and made him into a nice wall ornament. Then I spilled about his little mama story to everyone, and...made believe that I held her when it was just a prinny I painted pink."
Leaving out core details wasn't much of a loss, was it? She held back a chuckle, giving a nonchalant, mocking wave to it all instead.
"Basically, he just has pathetic mommy issues."
no subject
Zetta stared dumbly at Larxene's description. There was no sense of horror on his face, or even a hint of disapproval. Mostly, it was confusion. Experimentation? Whatever. She had said that was her job, anyway, and whatever sort of science-y thing she was into was her business. And vassals getting harmed was just part of the job. No, there was something else that was bothering him.
"He has parents?" He waved a hand as though he were trying to wash the subject clean. "Back up a minute. I thought his old man was dead." Or, at least, that was what he guessed. He was pretty sure he had heard snippets of conversations about the brat wanting to avenge his father or something along those lines. "And I haven't heard anything about a mom. Especially not in regards to prinnies."
Zetta had never asked about the kid's past, but then again, Zetta had never really cared about him enough to ask. He was just another person he had subjugated into working for him. This mommmy issue stuff was completely out of the blue.

Stepping backwards a little, she wondered if she should tell him.
It wasn't her place to reveal anything private like that to anyone, which made it all the more perfect to do just that. Smiling in delight, she placed a hand on her hip. "You're not very informed, are you? Not sure if you noticed, but Vyers' some form of Laharl's fathe. And his mother was made into a pink prinny for killing herself. Don't know where things stand now, but I plan to get an update soon enough ♥."
no subject
Not that learning any of this changed anything for him. Laharl's issues with his parents weren't any of Zetta's concern and it wasn't like his parents had done anything to him besides confusing him anyway.
"Uh... okay. And why are you so happy about this?" he asked, not quite getting it. "Is this that 'schadenfreude' thing?"
no subject
Slipping into silence at the thought, she finally inquired deviously, "What's the history between you and Laharl?"
The memories of the runt weren't much to go by.
