If Remus had been in the right condition, he would have silently cast a spell on Wolf to keep him quiet. No one could learn about his secret. He honestly didn't understand why Wolf was so open with it. Didn't he know that most people wanted to kill off their kinds? Remus might have been hurt, but he still wanted to live, damnit!

However, since Remus was still fighting off his body's insistence to pass out, he just drank more of the water, not minding that the woman had spilled some on him before. It showed that she was legitimately worried about him, and he certainly wasn't going to complain about someone defending him when he was like this. He was also glad to see that the woman saw that he and Wolf were friends, and didn't try to slaughter the guy, which looked like she had the ability to do. Remus guessed that the amount of bloodshed was more than enough last night. He didn't want anything to add to it.
