/s {party} {do you need it?} --> {Spira} [Active/open]

Character(s): Priere, Culotte, 2-3 more people
Content: Bored silly, feeling a bit locked up, the siblings decide it's time to hit the newest opened world.
Setting: Half a day after this post
Time: Noon
Warnings: Possible head trauma-- I mean, shouldn't be too much. Maybe fighting depending on how it goes.

It was about time Priere stopped being lazy around the apartment and finally did something with herself. After all, she wanted to get out of here as much as the next person did, so might as well start working towards it. And anyway, it had been a while since she went off with her brother, it was starting to feel like old times.

She stood near the entrance, waiting for the rest to arrive.

Adjusting his backpack (it felt like it had been awhile since he'd had to lug his backpack around anywhere), Culotte looked around nervously at their surroundings. This place was, well, spooky. Very spooky. And it didn't help that their clothing had changed the minute they stepped into the forest from the island paradise they'd been in before.

At least it seemed the door in the tree they stood by was how they were to get to the next... floor was it? How all this could fit on a floor of a castle, Culotte couldn't even begin to figure out how it worked, but that's what heard this place was.

Culotte really was looking forward to getting home. Things made a lot more sense there.

Unfortunately, 'there was a beach' didn't help much in the way of remembering where to go. Indeed, there was a beach--and Kanata remembered this, the number of oceans he had seen could be counted on one hand--but the everything else before that was a bit of a blur. Something about climbing a castle? Doors were involved too, but that was also after the beach.

... wasn't it?

Oh well, Kanata reasoned, he'd find his way to it eventually!

And so he did, "eventually" still being an important word in this scenario. Perhaps a little belatedly, Kanata found himself stumbling through the Halloween Town door (with still no change to his outfit, much to his continuing disappointment). "Ha, I knew I'd find it!"

"Uh... Hi!" Culotte greeted the late demon, looking up at him with more than a little curiosity. He was nothing like the demons Priere and him had seen. His clothes sure looked fancy and were those really dog ears? Either way, he didn't seem so bad, he was just late.

"Did you get lost or something?" Culotte asked. He could see that happening. It had been a rather weird and confusing trip so far, and they still had to go through this next door.

[identity profile] runawaystart.livejournal.com 2010-09-28 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah," Kanata said, pausing to catch his breath--though the grin never left his face. "I forgot where it..." Pause. Well, that was somewhat true. But it was also a matter of-- "Or which door was..."

...

"... I kind of forgot where I was going. Sorry about that!" He paused and blinked, taking note of their attire. Well, there was only so much you could gather about a person over the network after all. "Oh? I didn't know you guys were demons too," Kanata said cheerily, tail wagging.

While Priere was angry, Culotte was just baffled. He had no idea how he could possibly look like a demon, although, of course he didn't even know demons could look like the one before them. Sure, this place had done something weird to their clothing, but still!

"Uh, no, we're just humans," Culotte explained, calmly, following Priere out through their door.

[identity profile] runawaystart.livejournal.com 2010-10-13 08:01 am (UTC)(link)
Kanata blinked and frowned, what was all that about? For such a minor comment, that reaction was a little extreme! Sure, Culotte's statement had helped oil the gears a little (just a little), but still.

"Really?" he asked, following them through the door. Was this that funny costume thing again? Ah, how unfair! "But you both look so convincing..."

[identity profile] no-kitchen-sink.livejournal.com 2010-11-05 02:18 am (UTC)(link)
Culotte really had no idea what to say to Kanata's comment, but was thankful when the costume vanished and they stepped into the new world.

Like Priere, Culotte had a similar reaction. "Wow..."

This place was, well, amazing! It seemed like it was some kind of forest, but it was nothing like any forest he'd ever stepped into. Straining his neck, Culotte peered high up into the tall, gnarled trees. Where were those lights coming from? The whole place seemed to be sparkling.

This was going to be exciting.

[identity profile] runawaystart.livejournal.com 2010-11-12 05:31 am (UTC)(link)
"Whoaa!" Kanata echoed Prier's earlier exclamation. Like dust in the wind, the exchange he had just moments ago--as well as the confusion that was tied to it--immediately left Kanata's head. How could it not, with the kind of place he just entered? It took a moment before Kanata picked his metaphorical jaw off the floor, then he wasted no time at getting a better look at things.

"I've never seen so many trees before!" (To be fair, he'd never seen many outside of pots either.) Kanata wandered a few feet away to look at and poke and touch and grab at a plant that was hanging near the path they were on. "It's all so glassy looking too! What is this?! Do you think it's real? Oh- can it be melted? It doesn't look like it would be very tasty..." There was nothing but excitement in his voice. What an amazing place!

[identity profile] no-kitchen-sink.livejournal.com 2010-11-21 07:45 am (UTC)(link)
"Well," Culotte began, trying to figure out how to answer Priere's question. "We need to find a way to the next door, right?"

A door and a hallway was what they'd passed through so far, so it seemed logical this place would have one too. The trouble was trying to figure out where. The doors seemed like they could be anywhere.

"I guess we'll just have to explore."

That was Culotte's best suggestion. He hadn't seen anyone say anything about finding another door here yet.

[identity profile] runawaystart.livejournal.com 2010-12-10 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
"There's no guessing about it!" Kanata whirled around, a huge grin on his face. "We've got to explore! Just look at this place! It's amazing! Think of all the secret treasure about, the new potential villains who'll get in our way with their dramatic speeches and weird hair!" He clenched his fists together, determined and perhaps getting a little too into it. "I mean, what else is there to do?"

Kanata shuffled a little further down the path he was on, impatient and without the slightest clue or care to where it was headed. "Come on," he called back to the siblings. "Let's go!"

[identity profile] no-kitchen-sink.livejournal.com 2010-12-17 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
Oh uh. He knew that look. It was probably the mention of 'treasure' that had made Priere react like that. It took little effort to guess that.

Culotte sighed as his big sister rushed after Kanata, and heaving his backpack a little higher onto his shoulders, took off after her.

Here they went again.

Although, even Culotte couldn't help but be a little excited himself. This was a new place to explore, after all.

[identity profile] runawaystart.livejournal.com 2010-12-30 08:26 am (UTC)(link)
"That's the spirit!" Kanata pressed forward, eager and delighted to explore and all too ready to beat up some enemies. There had to be some! Kanata thought, humming. Hiding in the shadows that flickered to and fro! Or was that just because of all the glossy plants? He paused a beat. Well, maybe if he took a better look from somewhere with...

Kanata skidded to a halt--only just now being hit with the realization: this place was confusing. If he glanced around he could see a path that seemed to twist around back on itself, another looked to lead to a dead end, a fork or three in the distance there, and even what looked like a glittering, twisted path of light up above. It wasn't even that he was worried about getting lost (oh no, getting turned around and having to try over again--that was part of the excitement!), but what if they missed something and/or went past The Point of No Return? How would they even know?!

Kanata looked thoughtfully down the path they were standing on. He couldn't see where it tapered off to, not with all these similar looking areas and branches in the way. "... uhhh, which way do we want to go first? Should we use crackers or whatever it was like in the story?"
