Off to the side, hidden away, a shadowy figure stepped out from a dark corridor, watching Riku from under his hood. The young man was the perfect candidate, and Marluxia wondered why he hadn't though to make use of him before, if not for his connection to Sora then for the information he had.

He had yet to figure out the meaning of this particular document. He had his suspicions, yes, suspicions he didn't particularly care to dwell on.

With a last look at the ratty, slightly torn document in his hand, Marluxia let the piece of paper slip from his fingers into the street in front of Riku before disappearing back into the corridor.

[You received a Paixao Report!]

It was late by any sane person's standards. Still, even if Riku had reason to be concerned for his safety at this time of night, Paixao wasn't exactly a center of crime. He could handle anything that came his way. That said, it was time to head home, and that wasn't much more than a train ride away. The night atmosphere had let the teen think. The quiet allowed him to move where he wanted without being bothered, especially since he was away from the gates.

And that made movement ahead all the easier to note. A hole of smoking darkness appeared ahead, something Riku was very familiar with. Almost out of reflex he summoned Way to the Dawn. And there it was: a cloaked figure. All he could be sure of in the low light was that it wasn't Larxene. The build was too broad for her. They come at me when I'm alone. Smart.

"Come to play?" But he blinked when the figure simply dropped a sheet of paper and vanished as silently as he came. A few pink flashes fluttered down before vanishing, increasing Riku's suspicion. After a moment's pause, he lowered his weapon and looked around. When he saw nothing, he closed his eyes slightly and breathed in deeply. Aside from the now-subtle-smell-of-darkness and a hint of flowers that lingered from the corridor, he sensed nothing. Only knowing who.

His eyes finally went back to the document. Riku stepped up to it, eyeing it for a moment before picking it up. "This... Is this a report from Ansem?"

A trip to the nearest lamp post to read revealed otherwise.
