The sun was setting, and Remus was heading straight for the church. Despite feeling like he was going to keel over and pass out. He hoped beyond hope that the heavy doors could contain him, and that he could find a room without any windows to jump through. The sun was disappearing below the horizon, and he knew the moon would be up soon after. Remus ran through the building, looking for a secure place to lock himself up.

By the time Remus had found a secluded room, the sun was down, and the moon started to rise. Pain started to course through him, and he fell to his knees on the floor, doubles over from the intense pain with his wand dropping to the floor as well. The moon rose higher, and Remus screamed, the transformation taking over and the beast that he tried so hard to hide came out. Remus' screams soon turned to harsh howls, and what used to be a kind, considerate boy now ran through the church and burst out the front doors. Remus was loose in the city of Paixao. No one was safe.

Got it o7

How very predictable. Not that Saïx had truly expected anything different to be quite honest. But predictable wasn't to say it would be bad. ALl it meant was that he didn't need to think about his actions, and he couldn't keep from grinning as the wolf leapt at him.

At the same time, his sword swung up and around. If Remus didn't get out of the way, it would catch him across the side, albeit with the more blunt edge of the blade. He wasn't about to end things that soon.

Good. Very good. It wasn't any fun if the opponent simply broke and ran at the first sign of violence. That things hadn't hadn't ended that way was a good sign. How good remained to be seen but it was a start.

This time however, he simply moved out of the way of Remus' lunge. How far was he willing to go to get at what he wanted?

If he were waiting for Saïx's heart rate to increase he would be waiting days at the very least. Another of those odd quirks of not having a proper heart, and one that he, at least, didn't mind.

He hadn't quite been expecting the feint however, and while he didn't have enough time to properly bring his sword around it was easy enough to put his arm in between Remus and his intended target. He wasn't about to let his throat be torn out that easily - or indeed, at all, even if he would probably manage to live through it.

It's alright

There was a snarl from Saïx at that. A deep, bestial thing that could just as easily have come from the wolf he was fighting. The pain of the bite would have been enough, but with the attempts to pull his arm off it was like a switch had been flipped.

All that rage, all the anger that had been bottled up inside him came flooding out it the light. It was in his eyes, in his blood and it sang to him, even as his teeth sharpened and and his nails became almost like claws, and in the blink of an eye he summoned his sword to his other hand and brought the pommel down squarely on Remus' nose.

There was no more time for patience. If Remus wouldn't let go of his own will, Saïx would make him let go.

Again, Saïx snarled. He could scarcely feel the pain in his arm, with the rage singing through his veins, but that didn't mean that he couldn't take offense at the attempt all the same. After all, it wouldn't be easy to replace it. If it were only dislocated and battered, that he could deal with, but first he had to make sure that it remained

So since his previous attempt hadn't working he reversed the sword in his hand and swung it in at Remus' side. This time, however, he wasn't so kind as to hit with the flat of the blade. This was a strike meant to injure, and he didn't intend to pull the blow.

Saïx merely bared his teeth in the face of the that snarl, holding his ground. He was no creeping coward, to be cowing bu such a simple. No, he could and would fight to the bitter end - and that end would be a long way in coming.

But neither would he be making the first move. He wanted to see what his opponent thought of the matter; what decision the wolf would come to. Something he would never have done had he been faced with a human opponent, but that was neither here or there.

What mattered now was the next move.

Saïx could have almost laughed at that. Disarming was hardly the best tactic, when he could simply return his sword to his hand with an idle thought.

But if his opponent chose to go over that instead of something that would inflict more damage, he wasn't about to correct the error. Pain was the best teacher there was, and he intended to see that it did his job. Of course, even with that he was hardly about to let himself be disarmed. Far from it in fact, and as Remus once again drew near, he slammed the point of the sword into the ground.

Where it struck, a ripple of moon-pale fire sprang up, moving in Remus' direction.
