The Search is On. (Active/Open)

Character(s): Donna Noble, Open
Content: Donna's still searching for the Doctor, she's getting frustrated. But is this any surprise to anyone?
Setting: Anywhere in the city, tbh.
Time: Late afternoon/Early evening
Warnings: None.

She was going in a certain direction, the way the Doctor had stated he had parked his faulty TARDIS. And she hadn't found the bloody spaceman yet. Besides, she had to find him to keep him from sulking for too long, it just wouldn't work if he stayed that way. It just wouldn't do, especially if Donna had anything to say about that.

If he was sulking already, it had been a while since anyone had been around.

She sighed, looking around again. She had made it across part of the city, but she was going slower than normal, lingering in the city and trying to gather any information on what had happened when she had been gone. Also, trying to figure out how long she had really been gone from the city. Seemed strange, at least to her. After listening in on a conversation about the new mayor, she started wandering again.

Well, at least it wasn't running.

In hindsight, the Doctor realized he really should have checked with Donna about what direction she was actually coming from. Unfortunately he hadn't, so once he'd reached the gate at Niflheim he paused for a bit to see if she'd appear, but once some time had passed and she hadn't, he waved his journal at the gatekeeper, and headed in.

At that point he just headed the center of town, hoping he'd run in on her somewhere along the way. Or else, undoubtedly, she'd post something to him via the journals to find out where he was if he ended up missing her.

He still hadn't yet bumped into her, so paused to dig into his coat pocket and glance at the journals to see if she'd sent any new messages. She hadn't, but it seemed now that wasn't a problem, as a very familiar voice suddenly yelled at him from behind.

Turning around to face her, his hand went to his ear, lightly tugging on it. "Well, you know, bit of a walk from all the way out there," he replied, slowly approaching, a smile on his face. It was good to see her.

He had been about to answer her with something along the lines of not wanting to lose his parking spot, but held back as she said it didn't matter. "Oh? Well, that's good then, I 'spose," he replied, unsure of exactly what to respond to that with.

"Yes, actually, one of them. Got a bit distracted, but saw the first one that was found," the Doctor replied, still uncertain of exactly how it had been accomplished. Not that it wasn't possible, just the usual signs of the ones he knew of just weren't there.

He hadn't seen the next floors what with Jenny and Rose vanishing, and the threat of the Master kept him from wanting to wander far.

"I can't explain it though... not yet, anyways," he added. He didn't really want to call it a magic castle or something, but then again, he'd had to put aside his disbelief of magic awhile ago. Maybe magic was the best explanation right now.

"Well, sort of... " the Doctor began. Halloween Town was familiar, but not in the way Donna would have been thinking.

"Was having a look, but, well, something came up," he explained. Something being the Master. That had been the very big, big reason he'd returned to Paixao. He hadn't quite worked out how to deal with the Master. He hadn't really managed to do anything yet, but the Doctor was a bit wary of going far.

"Well, it was a rather large, big, important thing, but it can wait for now," he said, completely avoiding explaining for now. Oh, he'd have to tell her about the Master. There was no getting around it, really. He just didn't really want right away.

"You know, I could rather fancy a cuppa tea about now. What about you?" he asked, changing the subject. Actually, a cup of tea didn't sound too bad. While the Doctor could certainly go without food and drink for awhile, it didn't mean it necessarily liked to.

"Oh, I think I might know just the place," the Doctor replied, pausing a moment then offering Donna his arm. He figured he'd take her over to the nearest of the Cafe Eresats. They seemed to serve decent tea, if nothing else.

"As for filling you in, well, I'll do my best," he added. He was trying his best to keep track of everything going on, despite distractions.
