I'm on the bridge to better days [Active/Open]
Character(s): Iroh, OPEN OPEN OPEN
Content: Iroh FINALLY starts putting things together
Setting: The Golden Turtle, one of the abandoned apartment buildings
Time: Mid-morning
Warnings: Ehm. Old dude offering hard candy?
After an incidental reminder from one of the many citizens of Paixao, Iroh immediately picked out a location for his new tea shop in one of the abandoned apartment buildings around town. He had finally had the opportunity to gather his thoughts now that he had gotten used to the Paixao lifestyle. He knew of all the different layouts he wanted to try out in his new tea shop and who would be a great assistant or waitress. This then led to thinking of someone who would be able to date Zuko, as he was always on the lookout for his nephew. However, this led to the saddening and unsuccessful search for him.
He began clearing out one of the many rooms to take his mind off things. He heated the air himself with his firebending and made some make-shift torches to keep the place warm. Iroh finished sweeping it out and looked at the bare floor with a sense of pride. A blank slate, a new beginning...it was what he and Zuko needed. With the painful reminder that he still hadn't found his nephew again, he decided to take a break and sit outside to enjoy the day. Recruiting new workers, however, was merely coincidental.

One such man seemed to be up ahead. Raising an arm, Guy smiled. "Hello there!" he greeted, lowering his hand and placing both of them on his hips as he approached. Looking over the building behind him, the swordsman nodded in approval. "Nice place here. Is it yours?"

Turning around, Yzma noticed a building and that old man, Iroh she met earlier. Curious, she came over to see what this was all about. A young man already started to strike up a conversation with him, but she was more interested on what type of tea does he have yet. Yzma does need quality, and won’t go for any cheap run down café. She stood idly staring at the building in interest, wondering if this was the teashop Iroh was going to be in charge of.

He turned back to what he considered to be the "heap" of a place, but readily accepted the compliment. "Yes, this is to be the future site of The Golden Turtle, Paixao's newest and greatest tea shop...I think. I'm afraid I do not know the history of teashops within this place. However, that air of mystery will provide just enough motivation to make sure mine will be the best." It was as though he was having a conversation and a motivational speech for himself at once. It was odd, to say the least.
The only thing that could have added more to the oddity of the situation was Yzma, looking like an eavesdropper nearby. "Good day to you as well, Lady Yzma!" he said, hoping to draw her attention. "I am afraid I am not open as of yet. I still have many things that need to be done."
He then turned so he could address both of his guests. "In fact, it is said that many hands make light work. Would either of you care to help me with setting up shop? I promise not to take away too much of your time," he asked convincingly.

"The name's Guy."
