A Different Sort of Sport [Active]

Character(s): Megara, Jecht
Content: Megara and Jecht have a not-date wherein it's possible Meg stops being such an ice queen. Maybe.
Setting: Starting at the Seventh Heaven, who knows from there?
Time: Week 22, evening.
Warnings: None. ~Romantic tension~?

She couldn't explain why this was happening. Yes, she knew it was because she had given in a little. But why? Maybe finally being free of Hades, at least on this mortal plane, made her a little reckless. Maybe she was just tired of feeling so alone. Whatever the reason, Megara was waiting for Jecht instead of chasing him off.

She went about the normal routine of closing shop for the night -- cleaning the tables, checking the finances, locking the valuable things up. Yuna and Tiana had left a few hours before (and if Meg seemed skittish around the girls, they seemed to know better than to point it out). The customers had long since left. Now she stepped out into the warm evening air, closing and locking the door behind her. Now the real work would begin.

Meg stood in front of the closed door, her hand resting on the wrought-iron handle, her expression pensive. It'd been a long time since she'd entered the dating scene. Not that this was a date. Because it in no way was.

"Sheesh," he scratched the back of his head. "Sound like you got your hands full. But! I mean, I guess if it keeps you busy..." because, to put it simply, being bored was not Jecht's idea of having a good time. "But if some'a those customers are gettin' a little too creepy for ya... don't be afraid to deck 'em one, all right?" He added with a sly look. She did look like a girl who could handle herself, he had to admit.

"Yeah! He came back all right. Never, uh, thought I'd be glad to have someone stuck back here..." And she was entirely right. Jecht had yet to meet someone as tight-lipped as Auron, but... "Well, rightfully so," he added with a nod, "I'm the one with the great personality, after all."
