A plucky young companion returns. [Active/Open]
Character(s): Donna Noble, Open to All
Content: Donna's back in town, and wandering around the city trying to find a familiar face.
Setting: Around the Central Station
Time: Week 22
Warnings: None, right now.
It had been a strange morning, having been in the city one moment, then back in the TARDIS, then back in the city. From her travels with the Doctor, she knew that time could be a strange thing, listening to him talking, and from what she had seen...and done. One small thing could change the flow of time, so she never understood it completely.
Sometimes she wondered if the Doctor understood all of it.
She sighed, tapping the buttons on her journal as she weaved through the streets, ignoring glances and looks of awe from the children wandering around. She was on a mission to try to find anything that showed her that her friends were still there, or if they had been sent back to their appropriate 'whens' at the same time that she had.
It was going to be an interesting search.

So it was that the Maren floated down to a somewhat annoyed red-headed woman who was busily clicking away at her journal and looked at her in a friendly way. "Hi, there!"
no subject
"Ah, hello!" She said in response, glad to finally see a friendly face, even if it wasn't one that she knew. It didn't seem to be unfriendly, at least, but she did know to be careful.

"I don't think I've seen you around either. I'm Donna, what's your name?"

The creature rose into the air. "Oh, I've been around for quite awhile," he chuckled. Exactly how long he'd been around, the nightmaren didn't know, but it had been long enough that he was starting to get bored - never a good sign.

"I don't know how long I've been gone, really... Anything peculiar going on lately?"

"Ah, well, we'll see what happens with that, I bet it was one of the blondies who won." She mused out loud, looking at the crowd of people again.

"Probably," NiGHTS replied, not sounding too concerned with that turn of events. The citizens didn't seem the to be the type to take chances on outsiders; even if they acted friendly, for some reason, there was always something... off about them.

"If you would help me find him, it would mean a lot." Which was pure honesty. She didn't want to be stuck here for long, and if someone could figure a way to get out of the city, it was the Doctor.

"Is there a place where he usually is?"
