Characters: Auron and Ziva
Content: A passing of information between a badass samurai-like dude and a badass ninja-like woman.
Setting: Seventh Heaven
Time: Week 22, evening
Warnings: none
He didn't know what answers this woman had, but it was worth a try. Even if it turned out to be one of the same answers as always. If anything, it was at least a chance to let some answers be known. The resistance was small. Smaller than it had been in a long time. And while the Organization didn't seem to have been as active as they were before, it was foolish to think that they would continue to do nothing for long.
It couldn't fall. And while Auron was loathe to be the one to tell others about the resistance, he would do what he must.
Auron frowned, pushing his sunglasses further up his nose, unwilling to take them off even in the dimming sky. He had become too used to the barrier that they and the collar provided.

Right as she went to enter the bar, she heard someone shout from behind her.
"Hey, you! Outsider!" She turned slightly, to see a citizen standing there, pointing directly at her. "Yeah, you. How about you get the hell out of here. You are the ones who are making this place violent!" She turned to fully face the man who was shouting at her.
"Am I? You have no evidence that I have done anything to harm your city." She gave him one of her best smiles, concealing the fact that she had dropped one of her smaller knives into her right hand, in case things started to get ugly.
"You're right there with em all! The people who have been attacking each other, and those black things crawling around the city." The man shouted back, advancing slowly towards her. She didn't falter, nor did she budge.
"Do you not think we are trying to find a way home, to leave you and your city alone?"
"You should all be taken prisoner, maybe even taken care of by other means, if we can't send you back home." That did it. She didn't mind being disliked, even hated, but this went towards a line she didn't want to be crossed.
He kept coming towards her, and she shifted her weight into prime attacking position, knife blade visible in her hand. It was going to get ugly if someone didn't stop her, or him.

Immediately, he put himself between the man and the woman. "Enough." He glared down at the man, his tone inviting no argument. "I suggest you leave. Now."

"Or what? You'll do what they all do?" He turned to the spectators who were gathering. "See, they group together, and go after the ones defending their country!"
Ziva sneered and muttered a curse under her breath. She was tempted to lunge at him, and at least wrestle him to the ground to teach him a lesson, but she would wait to see what happened, for now.

"Whatever you say, red man. Just keep that panther under control." He made a gesture with his hand before turning and disappearing into the crowd that had developed. Ziva scoffed and watched as the others began to move along.

Some had done worse.

"Besides, if I would not have kept my emotions in check right then, he would be screaming in pain on the ground as we speak."

But this wasn't what they had come to discuss. He turned toward the door. "Inside."
no subject
"Am I correct to assume that you are the man I was speaking with earlier?" She asked, pulling open the door and taking a step inside.

"Auron," he offered, his gaze flicking toward the woman's face. "To get introductions out of the way."
no subject
"So, what do you know about this place?" She was straight to the point. No reason to dilly dally around this place.

"Different worlds. Like what kind of 'worlds'?" She placed emphasis on worlds, sounding skeptical of his words.

"How would one person get to these other worlds?"

"At least to be getting out of this area for a while, considering what just occurred. I believe I am not welcome here any longer."

For a moment, he sat silent, mulling over Ziva's words. This was the first he had seen of Paixao's citizens acting in such a manner, but it was doubtful that it'd be the last. There was only so much a destruction people could face before they lashed out, often in the most misplaced ways. The warrior scowled. "Better to stay here," he told her, not sounding tremendously happy with having to say it. "While unwelcoming, at least here there is food and a place to rest. It is not as though you won't have allies."
no subject
"I understand the idea of staying here, but I would like to gather information about this place. To have a bigger picture is the best in a place like this..."

"These are creatures few have ever had to deal with. Even if you can fight, you should be prepared for anything. Remember. This is not your world."
