It had been awhile since he had taken a walk for the sake of taking a walk. There had just been too much excitement and worry lately. It was nice to get away from it all. The sights of the city had become familiar to him and almost comforting in their familiarity. But there were still those times that he would see shades of Macalania in particularly crystalline trees and homesickness would raise its head again. It wasn't as though he would be able to see them again, at least not for very long, but he could still wish.

He was staring at one such tree at the moment, lost in thoughts of home and wondering how much home had changed in the past ten years.

Osaka had been wandering around a lot these past couple days, even more so than usual. She'd found pretty okay hotels to stay in when it got dark last night, and the night before that. But they didn't accept notes for money, and she was totally out of change, so she wasn't really sure what she was gonna do next.

Paixao was turning out to be a really weird place, to say the least. In fact, she was beginning to doubt it was even part of the theme park, even with all the weirdly dressed blond people hanging around. Like that person, for instance, with the flipper-looking robe, and the... hat? Was it a hat?

Curious, she approached Braska. "Umm, what's that on your head?" she asked innocently.

"Oh. ....Ohhh." It wasn't a hat, it was a headdress. Osaka took careful note of that; there was a big difference between the two. What she had on was a hat, and what he had was a headdress. She took hers off, too, imitating his action with a smile.

... Suddenly she was struck with an overwhelming urge to try his on, not unlike when she would pass by a fire alarm and feel like pulling it. It was probably one of those impulses she'd better ignore, but it was such a cool ha....

h...

... headdress.

"... Can I try it?" she asked after a long pause.

's'all good. sorry for late tag hayley.

Osaka nodded, beaming, as they traded hats. She struggled a bit to get Braska's over her head, with the cowl and all, but eventually got it. (Sort of. It was so askew it covered half her face.)

"Nice to meet'cha," she said, then, realizing she couldn't see out her right eye, reached up to fiddle with the hat headdress again. It was kinda heavy now that she had it on. "Oof. Wait, I got this."

Osaka let Braska help, and smiled up at him once the headdress was all straightened out. "Yeah, you better hang on to those," she said of the robes.

...... Within a few seconds of saying that, the weight of the headdress started gradually tilting her backwards, but she seemed perfectly oblivious.

"Yeah, prob'ly." Osaka bowed her head and pulled Braska's headdress off as awkwardly as she'd put it on, then handed it back to him by the blue tassels; the metal bit dragged sideways on the ground. "Sorry 'bout that. Let's trade back," she said.
