Beryl flustered mentally. Stay with him? Sure he was a nice guy and all, but it was still too soon to be staying in the room of another guy. And Mao would never let her hear the end of it...

...still, he was being very hospitable, and the offer seemed to be out of good faith. Maybe her doubt came from the fact that she wasn't used to this kind of charity? Sure she gave it to others all the time, but seldom had charity offered. She smiled a bit. At the very least, she should acknowledge his totally badass act of kindness. "Thanks, I just might have to hit you up on that," she said with a grin.

Her attention returned to the children entering into the building, and she was suddenly reminded that she hadn't eeaten saw one finishing his apple core before throwing it into a wastebasket before entering a building. "Hey, are you hungry? I could totally go for some lunch now, if you're up for it."
