It's a New Adventure! [ACTIVE]
Character(s): Bartz, open
Content: A new visitor has finally arrived!
Setting: Niflheim Gate
Time: About Mid-day.
Warnings: None, it's Bartz. Unless you count stupidity as a warning?
Well, this certainly wasn't something that the young wanderer was use to. Over the past years finally being out of his own, Bartz had come in contact with a many strange things standing before him. Had been through stolen pirate ships, flying dragons, and even into the dark depths of the void. But this, he thought, had put a new scale on the wonder factor.
There were usually three things that Bartz tended to do once stepping foot into a new area. The first of his instincts was usually what most people did on coming to an unfamiliar place; look around, of course. So there, standing foot into the unknown, his brown orbs instantly began to scan. Hm, not much of a rocky terrain, open space, and seems more of a existence then the places Cosmos had usually sent him.
Well, that was a little weird.
Second; reaction. With someone stepping into Bartz's shoes, they would merely begin to panic; sending fear struck into a sense of hopelessness and the feeling of being unsure of something they are not use to. For Bartz, that happened to be the exact opposite of his usual reaction. Almost instantly, a beaming smile graced the comfort of his lips; pure and heart warming. His orbs widened and became round with wonder; jaw almost slipping off his face and onto the ground underneath him. Traveling and seeing new lands was something Bartz had held near and dear to his heart for quite sometime. It was something his father wanted him to do, and what more of a reason to travel than that?
Third; take a step. You'd think that would be along the lines of the first one? Nope, Bartz had saved this little notion to the very end. For him, it was a way to finally come to terms with where he was at, as well and finally being able to do something about it. The step forward was a small one; slight timidness hidden within for the excitement the coursed through his body but when it was finally over a sort of accomplishment swept over him.
"Heh, well this place doesn't seem so bad! Pretty cool, actually." His reply came with a satisfied grip to his hips; hugging his fingers neatly around his lean figure. His chest puffed out and, with the smile glued across his face, let out a chuckle.
Whatever this new area would bring, he was up for it! That was what a wanderer did, after all.

Well, it wasn't exactly happening yet.
Though, he finally saw something interesting. He had to do a double-take, but he saw who was wandering now as well.
It was his friend Bartz!
Without even thinking about what on Gaia--or whatever planet he was--Bartz was doing here, he ran over to him. He grinned up at the much taller male when he got to him, and tilted his head.
"Long time no see!" He cried, pushing upwards on his tiptoes just a little bit. "What are you doing here?"
no subject
"Zidane-!?" His voice jumped with uttered surprise. Taking a moment to gather his thoughts together, he raced over to meet the shorter boy half way; a smile bracing across his face. "Zidane, its really you!"
On coming to this unfimilar place, it sure was nice to see someone he knew. Thank goodness!
"Yeah, it sure has been awhile, hasn't it?" He ended the statement with a light chuckle. Since Zidane was here, maybe this was a place that Cosmos had sent him after all. It sure didn't look like it, but with one of his most favored travel companions by his side the thought did arise.
"That's what I would like to know. I actually have no idea how I ended up here. Cosmos maybe-?" Bartz blinked, taking a gloved hand and placing it to the side of his head; giving it a nice rub. "What are you doing here?"
no subject
That being said, he couldn't help but speaking up all the same. The question hadn't been asked to him and he knew it but what could it hurt? If nothing else he could always bow back out of the conversation and nothing would be worse for the wear.
Except perhaps, for a little bit of his pride but he could afford to lose that.
"The same as the rest of us, I'd imagine."
no subject
At his friend's question, he shrugged. "I have no idea. I was in Lindblum, hanging with my friends--"
The new person caught his attention, and he looked up. "So, I suppose you don't have any idea what the heck's going on, either." He said, rubbing the back of his head. A soft chuckle escaped his lips now, finally realizing that everybody was as clueless as he was.
Great. Well, it would be an adventure for sure.
