There's no rest for a hero. [active]
Character(s): Zidane, open
Content: Zidane arrives in Paixao.
Setting: Vanaheim gate
Time: early afternoon
Warnings: none
Zidane was in trouble now.
"Teleported again? I'm getting tired of being thrown here and there." A smaller sized, young male said. Zidane had appeared here about an hour ago, and he was still trying to figure things out.
How had he got here? Well, the last thing he remembered was taking a mug while he was hanging out with his friends in Tantalus. If it was Kuja teleporting him around for a trap again, he wouldn't be a happy person. It just seemed like to Zidane that in that one blink, he was taken from Lindblum to this...Paixao.
Wherever this was. There wasn't anything like this in Gaia. So, from his last experiences from this sort of thing, he figured he wasn't even on the planet anymore.
As he had tried to sneak into the domed city, a man shoved him through the gate, and gave him a small, rectangular object. After carefully studying the area for a moment, Zidane found himself a small nook and sat down.
"What on Gaia is this?" He asked himself, examining the journal. It seemed as if everyone had one, but what was the point of this? After a few pokes and prods, he seemed to get the hang of it.
Slightly.
Figuring he had figured it out well enough for now, Zidane looked up and watched the crowds of people. He had no money, as far as he knew, and nobody he knew here.

She looked around her, disinterested in the new arrivals, and spotted the youth sitting down and checking his journal. From what she could see, he was a boy in his mid-teens. Besides the fact that he wore odd clothes, Dahlia decided that that he was not worth his time.
And then she saw the tail.
Although the young woman managed to compose herself before she could cry out in shock, she could still not help but stare. A talking frog was bad enough but a human with a tail? That was just not possible! It was just too ridiculous.
Dahlia was beginning to hate Paixao even more.

The most recent new arrival he saw was a boy about his age with a tail. It wasn't anyone he knew, but Sora loved meeting new people. Unlike Dahlia, the tail didn't phase Sora, as a matter of fact, Sora thought it was cool.
"Hey there," Sora said in greeting as he sat down next to the boy with a tail.

"Hello there." Zidane said, tilting his head and shifting so that his weight was a little bit more forward. "I'm Zidane. And who is that lovely lady over there?"
He looked around Sora and to Dahlia now, raising an eyebrow. A pretty girl always turned his head...
And she was definitely pretty.

“Um.....hello,” she said quietly to the two boys. Hopefully, they would only think that she was just shy.

Unlike Zidane, a pretty girl rarely turned Sora's head. At least not quite the same way did with Zidane. Sora was hardly what you would call a 'ladies's man', and he wouldn't know what flirting was if it came up and bit him. But the girl was pretty, there was no denying that.
"Hi." Sora replied, though not as energetically as he would have, seeing how quiet and shy the girl was.

It was a slight obsession of his.
"I'm Zidane. What's a beautiful young lady like you doing in a place like this?" He asked, putting his hands behind his back as he leaned forward a bit.

She gave a quick glance at Sora. To her, he was also bizarre, with his spiky hair and hideous-looking clothes. Even that awful sweater that her sister knitted for Phoenix looked tasteful in comparison. Still, at least he looked human.
"Um...nice to meet you, Mr. Zidane," Dahlia said, turning back to the thief. "Do you live here?"
no subject
Sora was a bit stupefied at Zidane's behavior, now Sora had met a lot of people, but he never met someone so flirtatious before.
Sora followed after Zidane and added, "Hey, I'm Sora," though with how Zidane was acting, Dahlia likely didn't notice him.

"...Where is 'here', anyway?" He turned to Sora now, and raised an eyebrow. Come to think of it, he didn't know a thing about this place still. It seemed like Sora was more in the the know about this sort of thing than Dahlia, so he wanted to give it a shot.
Laaate. Sorry, guys. :(
When the other boy introduced himelf, Dahlia turned to him. "Oh, um....hello. Nice to meet you," she answered quietly. Maybe he had more information about Paixao, if Zidane didn't. Dahlia was willing to take whatever chance she had.

That was... pretty much all Sora knew about the situation so far, hopefully it would be enough.
